"Mixed Review for Assisted Living: Sales Excellent, Nursing Needs Improvement"
The sales and front staff are great, helpful, aiming for solutions. Nursing team cares, but disorganized, unclear in communication to families. Issues with coordination and ownership of decisions. Costly for memory care.

"Renovations Impact Assisted Living Experience"
Recently, the assisted living facility went through big staff changes, especially with upper management. The ongoing renovations have caused some inconveniences. It's important for the staff to communicate better with residents during this process. They should also be more considerate of residents' needs. I hope the renovations turn out well, and the staffing situation improves. On the bright side, the current staff is friendly and hardworking.

"Preferred Facility Couldn’t Meet Care Needs"
We visited Evans Park at Newton Corner and I was really impressed with it. It was our top pick and I hoped to move my family member in. Unfortunately, they said they couldn’t provide the special care required.

"Be Prepared for Extra Effort"
Most of the staff were great, but sometimes it was hard to reach everyone. My loved one is happy there, even though they've had some staff changes. Be ready to do more than they initially say.

"Friendly staff, okay meals, but hard to make friends"
The staff is nice, and the meals are okay. The activities are getting better. The people form cliques, so it was hard to make friends.

"Mixed Experience with Assisted Living Facility"
It's been quite a ride this past year at the assisted living place. We've had to work hard to make sure our loved one gets the care they need. I'd say don't choose it unless you have tons of time to keep an eye on things. You've got to stay on top of everything and speak up for them. Also, lots of staff come and go, which makes things tricky. It's okay if your loved one can handle themselves, but if they have Alzheimer's or need lots of help, I wouldn't suggest it.

"Terrible Assisted Living Service and Facilities Beckon For Change"
This place is awful. My family member has been living there for a whole year. The staff at this place don't show any regard for the people living there. They aren't very attentive and their only interaction with the residents is to give them their medication. They display zero tolerance and are prone to have an attitude problem. It's like they feel they are doing us a favor by just giving medicines to our loved ones. We pay a whopping $8500 every month just to have our family member treated this way! The aides can sometimes be mean, treating elderly people in a harsh way. It's not right! Additionally, a large part of the staff doesn't even speak English as their primary language. They talk in some other language amongst themselves in front of everyone at Evans Park. For people like us who are younger, it's a bit weird. But for the older folks, especially those with memory issues, it's super uncomfortable. Also, they hardly ever have a nurse on duty, not even one available during the night to give out a simple Tylenol. The people living there squabble and decide who can sit where in the dining room, which, by the way, is not big enough in the first place. And the food? Not really that tasty. The one good thing about this place? They have musicians come in often, which is kind of nice.
