"Mixed Experience with Cleaning and Security, Overall Positive Feelings"
Before my loved one moved in, their apartment was freshly painted but not cleaned. I had to clean it myself, especially the bathroom and kitchen. On the first or second day, cleaners took tools and items but missed the trash. Although we never got those items back, the facility refunded us $150. They respond quickly when alerted and keep us informed. Despite my initial disappointments, my sister and her husband are happy, comfortable, and feel safe there. In the end, their happiness is what matters most. I would recommend Prosper at Monastery Heights to others.

"Excellent Care Despite Building Maintenance Concerns"
Our family thinks Prosper at Monastery Heights has great care. The building maintenance could improve, though our loved one wouldn't notice.

"Be Cautious with Paperwork"
My dad moved here and fell a lot, even fracturing his skull. They billed us after he passed away. Staff was nice, but care was uncertain. Be cautious with paperwork.

"Lucky find, wonderful place, praised food and dessert"
My brother and I are lucky to have found this community for our mother. It's comforting to know she's in such a wonderful place. She loves the food and always enjoys dessert. Thank you for everything you do.

"Beware: Aging Facility with Bugs and Hidden Costs"
This facility is pretty old, which brings up some issues by itself. Sometimes the electricity just cuts out, the water pressure in the toilets is really low, and the air conditioning and heating system is definitely not great. It's always either too hot or too cold, and it never really gets to the right temperature. Besides, the windows are super drafty. Most of the helpers are friendly, but they have this thing where they try to get extra money out of you for even the smallest things, so watch out for that and make sure you get a written list of what you will need. On top of everything else, I have to warn you - there are fruit flies in the building from Spring to Fall. Winter is the only time you get a break from them. These flies are everywhere - the dining room, the elevators, the apartments, and the employees don't even seem to notice the infestation. They don't think it's a big deal. If you want the real scoop, go talk to some of the people who live there.

"Great Community, Distant Location"
We liked this community; it was wonderful. The staff was friendly and seemed nice. The place was clean and well maintained, but the location was farther than we wanted.

"Old Assisted Living Facility Feels Like a Dorm, Needs Gardens"
This former monastery turned assisted living facility is cool, but you can see it's old. The hallways aren't super bright and some floors are uneven. It reminds me more of a college dorm than somewhere to live. Even though they have some really great land, they don't have any gardens or fun outdoor areas. They just have a few chairs by the door. Feels like they could do better. But the people who live here are really nice and seem to like it.

"Decent Living Facility With Room for Improvement"
So far, things have been okay but they could use some improvements here and there. There's nothing wrong with how clean they keep the place. My aunt likes the food they serve.

"Tripping Hazard and Allergy Risk at Assisted Living Facility"
The floors were covered with carpets hiding the uneven wooden planks underneath. There was a high likelihood of my mom tripping. Moreover, they allow cats to walk freely, which wasn't suitable due to allergies.

"Major Letdown with Unfulfilled Promises at Assisted Living"
My mom's short-term stay at this place was a letdown. I didn't feel good about it at all. They said a bunch of stuff in the meeting that they didn't actually do. We asked for them to bring her the newspaper each day, but they never did. After we left, they didn't even have the courtesy to call and check on us. This experience was really disappointing, and I wouldn't choose this place again.

"Deeply Unimpressed: Poor Facility, Stressed Staff, Missing Money"
It looks like all they said to us wasn't real. The place isn't clean at all. The staff looks super stressed. There's money missing from the PNA account. We made a big mistake choosing this place.

"Satisfactory Experience at Landmark Assisted Living; Some Minor Concerns"
Landmark @ Monastery Heights is going well. One thing that bothers me is that doing laundry costs extra. I believe it should be included considering how much I pay. The staff seems strict about medication. They don't directly give my mother her medicine; it's locked in her room, and she needs someone to unlock it when she needs it. I understand it's likely a state rule rather than the facility's choice. Overall, my experience at this facility has been quite positive.

"Beautiful, Happy, and Clean Assisted Living Facility"
This place is amazing! It’s an old church that’s been fixed up for residents. Some of the stained glass windows and mosaics are still there. The chapel is gorgeous. It’s clean and the staff is friendly. The residents I saw looked really happy. It’s a bit pricey, but worth it.

"Decent Facility, Frustrating Paperwork Trouble"
So far, it seems decent enough. The workers are nice and it's usually kept neat and tidy. The meals are good too. What really bummed me out though, was the trouble I had when we disagreed about some paperwork stuff.

"Very nice place"
I had my loved one stay here for a short respite, and they did an excellent job overall. The staff is very friendly and worked hard to make her stay comfortable and enjoyable. She was against the idea of staying in a community, but afterward, she said it was very nice. We would definitely consider this place as a permanent option when the time comes.

"Absolutely amazing community, staff, and amenities!"
We couldn't be happier with this place! The community is beautiful, and the staff have been amazing. They have lots of activities and amenities to keep everyone busy and active. Even the food has been great! There's a private dining room residents can reserve for guests, and they'll cater dinner for a good price. We'd recommend this place to anyone!

""Assisted Living Facility's Rooms Tiny and Dining Far Away""
The rooms at this assisted living place are pretty tiny, and it's a long hike to get to the dining area. I'm not sure if my mom can handle it. Each room only has a bathroom and a closet.

"This was my favorite; they provide all the help needed!"
I really loved this place! They give my dad all the help he needs. There are 120 residents—40 men and 80 women. The apartments are big, bright, and have high ceilings. The common areas are great, too. The residents are very active, and there are many fun activities for everyone.
