"Less-than-Clean Facility with Inconstant, Careless Staff Breaks Law"
I strongly advise against choosing this place. My daughters did a lot of investigating to find this facility for my former wife, who has Alzheimer's. From day one, it was a mess. I live with my oldest daughter, so I witnessed all the stress-inducing phone calls. The cleanliness of the facility was poor, with pests like mice and bugs present. Also, the staff was always changing. Inappropriate behavior like sleeping, eating, and chatting on the phone while at work was common. Even worse, they frequently sent my ex-wife to different hospitals without cause. Eventually, they sent her to the emergency room and wouldn't let her return. Now, she's stuck in the hospital because this facility refused to take her back, which my lawyer says isn't legal. The facility's staff and management lack empathy. Take the time to read all the reviews and believe them when deciding on this place.

"Terrible Care, Negligence, and Thieving at Prospect House Assisted Living"
My mom's time at Generations at Prospect House, which began in [date removed], has been an absolute nightmare. I often found that she hadn't been given a bath and her hair was oily from neglect. Her bedding was frequently soiled and her laundry basket was always brimming with dirty clothes. She seemed to fall daily at the facility which was unusual for her. They'd randomly send her to various hospitals without explaining why. She wasn't given her necessary medications properly. Multiple times, I discovered unopened medication packets and sometimes even found pills on the floor or thrown away without explanation. The facility's mandatory overnight checks were skipped and their logs were not signed. Personal items, including her cell phone, kept inexplicably disappearing. The head of the facility was hardly ever present and the nurses were also nowhere to be seen. Anytime I received a response to my emails, it was always an excuse about needing to retrain the staff. This place is a disaster!

"Lacks Care and Responsibility"
The place doesn't have much. If you need memory care for your loved one, find another place. The only thing an aide can say is, "I wasn't here this morning or afternoon." No one takes responsibility. Medications aren't given out when they should be. The place is dirty and dingy.

"Prospect House Dementia Care: Don't Settle, Find Better"
If you're thinking about choosing Prospect House for someone with dementia, don't. The activities they offer are really weak...most of the time they just pop a CD into a player. The quality of care isn't safe. Plus, they'll find every little reason to charge you more. If your family member deserves a welcoming, homelike place to live, I suggest you skip this one. They should get better.

"Friendly staff, helpful mailings, and pleasant visit"
The staff was friendly during my tour. The guests I met were delightful and engaging. The tour director knew a lot about the place. I also received helpful mailings about local meetings and seminars, instead of annoying sales calls. I’m still learning about assisted living, so these mailings were great. I noticed a few minor repairs that needed attention. The activities director was very kind.

I recently moved my sister to Prospect House. The staff is amazing and always ready to assist with my sister's needs. They organize various activities throughout the day, and the facility is well-maintained.

"Dismal Tour Experience, Would Not Recommend"
I was really turned off by what I saw when I visited. The tour guide was kind of mean and the overall mood was pretty sad. Honestly, I don't have a single nice thing to say about this place. I wouldn't tell anyone to go there.

When I visited, I REALLY didn't like what I saw. The lady who showed me around was really mean, and the whole place just felt so sad. I can't think of anything good to say about this place, and I wouldn't tell anybody to go there.
