"Assisted Living Facility Fails to Prevent Falls, Causes Extra Costs"

My family member needed help because they could easily fall. From the start, they should've told us they didn't have enough staff instead of making me get extra people to look after them at night. My family member fell down five times there and had to be taken to the hospital in an ambulance. I was stuck having to pay all those extra bills.

"Friendly Staff and Fun Activities, But Dinner Needs Improvement"

They are super friendly and welcoming, plus they offer lots of activities. The main issue is that staff keep changing. My mother-in-law loves the lunches but doesn't like the dinners at all. Overall, it's a really nice place for her.

"Disappointing Care and Unkempt Living Conditions"

The quality of this assisted living facility really depends on its staff. When my family member was living there, I had a lot of trouble with the nurse manager, who has since left. The way she talked to my family member was just not right, and I had similar issues with some of the aides too. Their treatment was not what we expected. Every time I visited, I noticed that my family member's apartment was always somewhat dirty—whether it was the carpets or the countertops, it just seemed like no one was properly taking care of things. They couldn’t give the care my family member needed, and the place was concerning enough that we both decided it was best to leave, even though it meant moving away from friends.

"A Friendly Tour of a Nice Community"

This is a nice place, and our tour went well. We visited it for our dad and his needs. The staff was very kind and friendly. The community looked good, but the building was older than we wanted. Overall, the experience was good. This is a nice community.

"Great care, kind staff, nice activities, well-maintained, highly recommend."

My uncle had a health setback, but he’s doing better now. They are taking good care of him in this community. He’s getting wonderful care, and I’m pleased with everything they’ve done for our family. This is a beautiful place with kind people. There are lots of nice activities for residents, and the meals are good. The community is well maintained. Things are improving for us here, and I would recommend it. It is a great facility.

"Great Looking Place, But Concerns for Fall-Risk Patients"

Sad to say, we did not like Stafford Hill. Their care service isn't enough for someone who often falls. Even when we paid for all the extra care they had, my relative still fell three times in a day. Sure, the place is clean and looks nice, and the people working there are super friendly. But if your family member often falls, you should probably check out somewhere else.

"Beware: Gorgeous View, More Than Some Bumps on Service!"

The place is wonderful to look at, but sure doesn't come cheap. There are days when everything's fine, and times when you have to chase after care or make sure medications are given. Clearly, their staff isn't paid enough. When I first checked the place out, they boasted about how their employees don't leave; but I've seen quite a lot of new faces this year. Without name tags too, it's pretty wild. I also noticed that the communication between the staff during shift changes is really lacking. It makes me wonder how things are when I'm not there to watch over everything. Decent care is tough to find these days, but given how pricey the place is, it shouldn't be such a worry!

"Tour disappointment: Lack of staff for scheduled visit. Old building."

When I went for my tour, as planned, nobody was there to show me around. The building looked old, and I didn't feel good about it. It was tidy, and the staff were nice, but something didn't click. If you set up a tour, there should be someone to guide you.

"Great place with friendly staff; activities program needs improvement"

We chose this place after looking at many options, and we're happy with our choice. The place looks nice, is always clean, and the staff are friendly and quick to help. The residents seem well taken care of. A few friends who had family members here recommended it to us. One issue we've had is that they lost their activities director not long after we moved in. This has affected the activities program, but I'm sure this problem will be fixed soon.

"Too impersonal and industrial"

I checked out this place when I was searching for care for my family member. It could have given us the care we needed, but I didn't like the vibe—it felt too impersonal and industrial. I wanted a spot where my loved one would get more individual attention.

"Overall Good Choice, Activities Program Needs Improvement"

We picked this place from our top choices. It looks nice, always clean, and staff are friendly and helpful to residents. Our friends recommended it, and everyone seems well taken care of. One issue is they lost their activities director, so programs suffered, but it's likely temporary.
