"Disappointing Changes in Assisted Living Facility Atmosphere"

I visited my mom, and it was sad to see how much the place had changed. The staff turnover is crazy! It used to be full of caring people, which was reassuring for my mom's care. But now, things feel different. Every time I used to visit, the staff were always friendly and smiling. But not anymore. During one visit this week, I saw the lady in charge of dining smoking or vaping, which was shocking. My mom said it's a regular thing, and lots of people have complained. It's not safe for elderly folks with health issues to be around that. It's tough to think about moving my mom, but I might have to because this place is poorly managed.

"Disappointment Over Unfulfilled Promises at Assisted Living Facility"

My folks only stayed at this place for a month before they decided to leave. The place felt deserted and the atmosphere was negative, especially during meal times. The activity program was lacking and poorly coordinated. Activities were scheduled throughout the week, but no one ever attended, and when they did, it was dull. Another major issue was the food. They seemed to serve chicken with every main dish, and it wasn't the quality food they were promised. My dad was sometimes denied seconds, and he couldn't get any meat with his eggs at breakfast. When they first moved in, they were promised a men's club, a variety of activities, and gourmet meals. None of these promises were kept. We're really disappointed with this place and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

"Disappointing Living Facility with Dull Atmosphere!"

My parents only stayed at this senior living facility for a month before announcing their intention to leave. The feeling there was very desolate and it was particularly gloomy during meals. The activity program there was seriously lacking both in organization and variety. Even when there were events, nobody showed up and those who did found it dull. The food was another major issue - they seemed to serve chicken with every main meal and it wasn't the quality food they were promised. My dad was occasionally refused seconds and couldn't even get meat with his breakfast eggs. When they first moved there, they were told there would be a men's club, a wide range of activities, and many gourmet meals - none of these things exist there. We are really let down by this place and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

"Clean, reasonable, great activities, but lacking couple accommodations"

The place is very clean and reasonably priced. They cover everything and do a great job. They keep the residents involved in activities, and the food is pretty good. However, they don't seem very experienced with couples in memory care. The setup is mostly for individuals, with one person per room. On the assisted living side, they have some larger units, but it would be nice if there were bigger rooms for couples in memory care. Overall, it’s a new and beautiful facility.

"Clean, affordable, engaging, but not ideal for couples in memory care."

It's super clean and not too expensive. They cover everything and do a great job. They keep everyone busy with fun stuff to do. The food is really good too. But I noticed they're not so used to having couples in the memory care part. It seems more like it's meant for one person in each room. They have bigger rooms in the regular assisted living part, which is nice. I wish they had some bigger rooms set aside for couples in memory care. But overall, it's new and really pretty.
