"Warm and Welcoming Assisted Living!"
It's a super friendly place! It feels like a cozy home where residents get great service. I was amazed by the big nursing staff.

"Neglect and Disorder: Disappointing Care at Assisted Living Facility"
When I went to visit my buddy, I caught a caregiver using my friend's phone without permission. Once, I saw someone sleeping in the TV room instead of working. It's hard to find staff around most of the time. Meal times are chaotic and really unorganized. The facility doesn't have enough seating for everyone in the dining area. I let my friend's family know about all this. It hurts to see that residents who can’t communicate or understand their surroundings are neglected. It's truly upsetting.

"Third Floor Living Conditions Poor at Assisted Living Facility"
At this assisted living facility, they have a dining room where most people eat. But if you happen to live on the third floor, things are different. You're stuck eating in the noisy kitchen, with dishes clanging and no peace. It's just not the same as being on the first two floors. If you're considering this place for your family member, try to visit during mealtimes. It's hard to imagine how challenging it must be for the staff on the third floor. The kitchen can't even hold everyone. I'm not going to reveal who I am because I don't want to cause problems for the staff who looks after my sibling.

"Mixed Feelings at Gardner Park"
I didn't feel great about it. The place didn't feel good. We'd been to another Sunrise community where they weren't very attentive to activities and engaging with my loved one. After our tour at Gardner Park, I wondered if it would be the same.

"Well-Maintained Community with Good Value"
The community is really nice and worth the cost. We can't say much about the food since our loved one needs pureed meals, making it hard to judge if it's good or not.

"Smaller Facility, Mixed Staff, Personal Care Approach"
I like that this assisted living facility is smaller, which means fewer residents. However, the downside is that the staff is also small, so if you don't connect with any of them, it can be challenging. I appreciate their approach of assigning specific personal care attendants to residents most of the time. It would be great if they had an online portal for ongoing communication. Note: The food rating is based on feedback from my loved ones.

"Clean community with activities, worth touring for loved ones' care."
I visited this community recently. I didn't check out the memory care unit this time. The place was clean and tidy. They offer plenty of activities for residents. Unfortunately, I couldn't talk to any staff during the tour. I think families should consider touring this place if they're thinking about care for a loved one.
