"Location Matters for This Assisted Living"
I'd suggest it, but they need to fix the staffing problem. I chose this place because of its location.

"Mixed Feelings about Sunrise of Arlington"
Sunrise of Arlington's spot is nice, and it's clean. The person in charge of activities is great too. But it's kinda gloomy there, with not many workers showing they care about the folks living there. It's good that [name removed] didn't notice. We suggest the downstairs area.

"Mixed Experience at Sunrise of Arlington"
Sunrise of Arlington was just okay for us. But, we’re still getting bills without any details, even though we were told our balance was zero. If you’re considering Sunrise, make sure they itemize your bills. Some staff were great, though. Special thanks to the concierge.

"Unsatisfactory Assisted Living Facility; Seek Alternatives Elsewhere"
Avoid this place at all costs, it's really bad. I'm scared to even write this because I worry they might make her suffer for it. It's simply not worth it. Not. Worth. It. Seek out a different facility. Look somewhere else. Seriously, find somewhere better.

"Care Lacking at Assisted Living Facility"
I can’t say I’d tell others to pick this place. They promised us certain things during the tour, but those promises weren’t kept. When we got there to move our family member in, nobody was there to greet us or help with our questions. They said they’d take good care of them, but then my family member couldn’t even get out of bed for a few days. It seems like they don’t have enough staff. I only saw three workers, and sometimes it takes two just to help one person get around or lift them. The few staff members who did help were really great, though. But we kept having trouble because my family member wasn’t helped to the bathroom when needed. Sometimes, they didn’t even help them out of bed, and it wasn’t a nurse deciding this—it was the Aides. Our family was pretty worried about that. The food was just alright. They didn’t stick to the diet that was needed for my family member. One person who has diabetes was given five glasses of orange juice, and that’s a big problem.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living: Pleasant Location, Struggles for Services"
This place is nice and the area it's in is really good. It looks nice too. They have plenty of fun things to do here. We pay more every day for extra help. But getting those services is a real challenge, and it makes me mad.

"Unpleasant Experience: Rude Staff Overshadows Nice Tour"
I wouldn't suggest this place after visiting. The person who showed us around was friendly, but the one in charge of activities was really mean to us. It made the whole place feel unwelcoming.

"Caring staff and good communication make up for facility's upkeep"
The staff at the Arlington, MA facility is very caring. The facility’s upkeep and maintenance are okay, not amazing, but the staff makes up for it. They were concerned about my aunt’s physical and mental issues. Communication was quick and on time.

"Pleasant place, but daily pricing is confusing"
A pleasant place. The tour didn't start well because the person who was supposed to meet us wasn't there. The staff seemed involved and friendly. There were a lot of activities, but not much for non-Christians spiritually. We were interested in the memory unit, and the guests were together but not doing anything structured. The staff seemed to care. There was a lovely deck area. Pricing here is by the day, which makes little sense unless it's just meant to confuse.

"Assisted Living Facility Review"
This place is nice. At first, our tour didn't start well because the person who was supposed to meet us wasn't there. But the staff seemed friendly and involved. There were lots of activities, but not much for people who aren't Christian. We were interested in the memory unit, and while the guests were together, they weren't doing anything structured. It seemed like the staff cared, and the deck area was lovely. The pricing here is by the day, which doesn't make much sense unless they're trying to confuse people.

Certainly! Here's a revised version of the review in an 8th-grade level American English: --- **Title: My Experience at the Assisted Living Facility** I live in this assisted living facility, and most of the regular staff members are friendly and consistently positive. However, not all managers provide the same level of professional service. Some leave me wondering how they even got to their top positions, lacking the professional understanding, composure, and patience needed for their fundamental job requirements. Here are some specific issues I've noticed: 1. **Impatience with Residents**: Some managers easily lose patience with us, as if they bring their personal issues to work. It's frustrating when they respond harshly, making it seem like that's the only way to get a reaction from residents. 2. **Noise Levels**: There are staff members who turn up the jukebox volume too high while we're trying to talk and understand each other in common seating areas. As residents, our cognitive abilities and hearing aren't as sharp as they used to be. 3. **Communication about Medications**: The Rx medication staff sometimes talk in frustration instead of kindly responding to residents who ask about their morning meds. This happens daily, and it would be better if they showed more understanding and pointed out where residents signed the morning medication chart. 4. **Understanding Assorted Living Situations**: Some staff members need to learn how to take a step back, breathe, and understand the diverse living situations here. Instead of competing to be better or smarter than us, they should show compassion and make better use of their healthy brains. In summary, this isn't a hotel for independent yuppies with BMWs, saunas, and stock market wins. We're the people who live here and require special care. It's essential to recognize that each Sunrise location is under corporate management, which gets involved when local matters can't be resolved promptly. The Sunrise of Arlington, MA falls under the corporate management of the "Sunrise Corporate Office (McLean, VA)." Hopefully, positive changes will come soon. The monthly rent is $4,000.

"Nice place, but bike trail concerns and director's professionalism"
The community was lovely, well-kept, and the landscaping was clean and neat. I saw a bike trail for people who liked to bike, but I think it could be unsafe for those who need help walking. People on bikes don’t always pay attention. The community had lots of activities and seemed connected to the larger area. The director was nice, but I questioned his professionalism when he talked about other communities.

"Third Choice, But Nice"
The community was really nice and well-maintained. The landscaping looked clean, too. I noticed they had a bike trail, but for someone who needs help walking, it might not be safe since bikers don't always pay attention. They offered lots of activities and seemed connected to the overall community. The director was friendly, but I wondered about his professionalism when he talked about other nearby communities.

"Intimidating Nurse at Assisted Living Embarrassed Mom!"
My mom stayed there for a fortnight, including two weekends. She was scared of the nursing staff, who were extremely bullyish. One nurse even embarrassed my mom for using her wheelchair, instead of her walker, in front of other residents! I advise you to stay clear of this place; other, better alternatives are available close by.

"Nice Place with Some Drawbacks"
I visited Sunrise of Arlington, and it was a nice place. The staff, was friendly and pleasant. The only downside was that it’s on a busy road, Massachusetts Ave. They had a lot of extra charges for things like cable TV and different levels of care. I would have preferred one monthly price that covered everything. Still, the place was well-furnished, clean, and had various room options.

"A Review of Sunrise of Arlington"
The people at Sunrise Of Arlington don’t talk much. From the folks at the front desk to setting up appointments, there’s not enough communication. The staff who take care of us here aren’t very attentive. I’ve had lots of problems, so I can’t say I’d suggest this place.

"Failures and Frustrations: Don't Be Fooled by This Facility"
This assisted living facility doesn't do a good job taking care of people. There were many times when all that my family member needed was for the worker on call to answer a page, but they would just ignore it. One time, my family member even ended up needing intensive care when they were supposed to be watched in the Memory Care unit. The Assisted Living Coordinator acts like she knows everything, is never nice, and only talked to me when the facility wanted more money. She made me feel like having my family member there was an issue. She should get the boot. The head nurse was no better, coming off pompous and belittling. The activities they advertise, like exercise and lectures, are not as great as you might think. Most of them are just videos on a screen instead of actual classes with real people. This is a perfect example of how they mainly pretend to care, just like how the caregivers in this facility seem to do.

"Disappointed: Sunrise Facility Fails to Keep Friend Safe"
My friend was moved from Wyngate in Brighton to Sunrise due to her health problems; extended care was necessary. I'm aware this is secondhand information. My friend, who uses a wheelchair, fell overnight despite the facility not having a first alert in place and promising to watch her every few hours. Now she's in a nursing home. She was excited to see her own furniture, but there she is now.
