Sunrise of Leominster

"Consider Sunrise for standard care, research memory care options"
Sunrise can be a bit pushy about getting your family member in fast. I’d suggest considering this place for regular assisted living, but if you need memory care, make sure to do more research.

"Friendly Staff, Pricey Costs, and Decent Communication"
The staff is great, but it’s a bit pricey. Food is good, communication okay.

"Well-Run Assisted Living with Engaged Residents"
They did a great job keeping residents engaged. The facility was super clean. The Director communicated well, but staff only responded when we insisted on meetings. Overall, a well-run facility.

"Overwhelmed Staff, Not Ideal for Dementia Care"
One caregiver has too many people to look after. They can’t make sure everyone is safe or has what they need. The workers are nice but can’t give the right kind of care as a person’s dementia gets worse. It’s really not the right place for someone whose dementia is getting more serious. The helpers who do work hard don’t get paid enough. You can tell which ones don’t like their job. It seems like they don’t tell you they can’t take care of your loved one as their illness gets worse.

"Mixed experience; poor communication; good overall."
The place is clean, and they interact well with residents. But their communication is terrible—they don't respond to emails or calls about your loved one's care. Billing emails are prompt. Overall, it seems like a great place, but they don't keep their promises.

"Mixed Experience at Sunrise of Leominster"
Our visit to Sunrise of Leominster was just okay. The location wasn’t very convenient for us, and all the places we toured seemed quite similar. We couldn’t bring our loved one along, so we missed seeing how they’d interact with her.

"Limited Tour Due to COVID; Great Staff, Honest Director"
Our visit was good but somewhat restricted. Due to Covid, we couldn't enter areas where residents stayed. The main person we talked to was fantastic. The director was okay but very honest. He explained that people leave because they pass away or run out of money, which made us hesitant about relocating our loved one.

""Sunrise Assisted Living Falls Short""
My parents have been at Sunrise for nearly a year. I'm really let down by how it's run, and I don't feel confident in their care. We should've picked a different place.

Depending on your needs, this place is suitable for some. If you require more care, you might want to look at other places. The rooms come in various sizes and layouts, which is nice. The food they serve is good.

"Charming but Dated"
The community looks a bit old-fashioned, but it’s still pleasant. Rooms are average-sized. We chose it for our loved one because we knew Sunrise.

"Assisted Living Review: Safe, Loving Community with Responsive Staff"
This community feels like a cozy home. Although our loved one can't join in all the activities, it's a nice place. The staff is very kind. During Covid-19, they're keeping everyone safe by locking down, which makes us feel secure. One time, a staff member even called me back at 10 PM.

"Fewer activities, not the best fit for social seniors."
I visited Sunrise and it seemed nice, but it wasn't as lively as we hoped. My mom loves being around people and needs more going on. It's nice, but not quite right for her.

Wonderful is all we can say about Sunrise. It's definitely the best place to be. The staff seems really sure of what they’re doing, and I want them to know how thankful I am for all their hard work.

"Nice place, but not right fit for our loved one."
Sunrise of Leominster seemed okay, but it wasn't perfect for our family member's needs. The staff were nice and tried to help, but it might suit someone who needs less care.

"Seemed like a nice place"
I visited this community when considering care options for a family member. The place was clean, and the staff I met were friendly and professional. However, I didn't feel it was the best fit for my loved one's needs at the time. Overall, it appears to be a pleasant location and is worth checking out.

"Great care and quick response from staff"
Every staff member here is very supportive of my wife. If we ask for something, they do it right away and with a smile. Her medication keeps changing, and both the nursing staff and pharmacy respond quickly to these changes. Highly recommend this place!
