"Needs Improvement: Care and Communication Lacking"
The workers are mostly kind and good to talk to. The building is kept tidy. The meals weren’t good, which was a letdown. They didn’t talk to us well. They made decisions about our mom’s care without telling us first. There’s nothing to do after dinner. They weren’t able to give my mom the help she needed.

"Great facility with friendly staff and private bathrooms"
The facility is really nice, and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. I checked out another place that was also nice but cost a bit more and had a shared bathroom. I chose this one because it’s great and has a private bathroom.

The community is pretty good overall, but they need to clean the rooms more often. I think they should communicate better and take more initiative in her care. Based on my experience, I would suggest this community to others.

For anyone considering Sunrise of Plymouth Beach, make sure you know the whole truth before you let your family members stay there. We had a pretty bad experience with their care services and I wouldn't suggest you use them.

"Impressive Tour"
I had a great tour of this community. The place is really nice, and everyone was friendly. It felt like a cozy home. The staff was helpful and answered all our questions. Although my loved one didn't choose it, I was impressed.

"Inconsistent Meals Spoil Otherwise Positive Experience"
This place was a break for my husband, and overall it was pretty good, but the food really brought it down. The only downside is the food. They're not cooking it right, and it lacks flavor. The meals are either overdone or underdone. However, the physical therapist was fantastic. He's the main reason I chose this place for my husband. I was impressed when we met him, and he did wonders for my husband's recovery. His room was nice, clean, and had a modern look to it.

"Seems Like a Nice Spot"
My mom's relative suggested this place for my mom after checking it out. I haven't been there much, but it looks nice and tidy. The staff seems friendly. While I haven't joined any activities, the schedule resembles what other assisted living facilities offer.

"Caring Staff Made a Tough Time Easier"
My loved one spent the last eight years there and was really well cared for by the amazing staff. They were always quick to help the residents and also very supportive of our family. Dealing with dementia is tough for everyone involved, but the Emeritus staff made things a bit easier with their help and understanding. We’ll always be grateful for the comfort and care they provided.

"Beautiful but lacked needed care, staff helpful in relocation"
The place looked really nice, but it didn’t give us the care we needed. However, the staff was really helpful and directed us to another Emeritus community that had openings and gave us the care we were looking for.

I really liked this place. The only thing I didn't like was that the room was very small, with no kitchenette. There wasn't much space for anything else besides a bed and a bureau.
