"Satisfied with Care, Some Room Intrusion Issues"

We're really happy with where our loved one is staying. We wouldn't move her for anything. It costs a lot, but it's worth it for someone who enjoys all the different activities they offer. Our loved one doesn't really join in the activities, but they offer really good ones. They talk about how great the meals and dining service are - that they really love. The only problem, which is just how all places like this work, is that they come into the room without really telling you beforehand. But our loved one is getting used to it.

"Convenient and Fun Assisted Living in Our Hometown"

Compared to other places nearby, this community offers great value. They have really enjoyable activities, and since it's in our hometown, it's super close for our family to visit.

"Beautiful community with spacious rooms and friendly staff"

We picked this facility because it's in her hometown. We liked the common rooms, the good-sized individual rooms, and the beautiful courtyard with picnic tables where residents can garden. The staff I met were very friendly too. There are two room sizes, so you can choose what fits best. The bathrooms are very spacious. They also have a nicely furnished respite room, which is great for trying the place out for 30 days or if you need a temporary stay. There's also memory care on the second floor. I would recommend this community.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility, Hoping for Improvement"

I picked this place 'cause it's close to home and work, so I could visit Mom a lot. Moving from living on her own to needing help has been tough for her. I think the place is nice; they clean the apartment regularly, and it doesn't smell weird like other places. The laundry, kitchen, and carpet are always tidy, but you gotta pay extra for laundry help. Mom says the food isn't great, but lunch is the best meal they serve. She likes a few nurses there; they're really good with her. They have fun stuff to do, like Wii bowling, bingo, crafts, and movie nights. But there are some problems too. I don't think Mom's getting the care I'm paying for. Some of the staff aren't great. Once, a nurse got mad just 'cause she had to move a table a little bit. They sometimes say rude stuff to Mom and don't want to help her with certain things, even though she has specific shower days. I've told the staff about this, and I hope it gets better. I'm not saying don't go here, but I hope they make some changes.

"Not the right care..."

When we visited The Arbors, we liked it, but they couldn't properly care for my mother-in-law. It wasn't a good choice for us.
