"Hospitalization led to rent issues, staff communication needs improvement."
[name] went to the hospital, still charged rent, limited reimbursement. Caution: watch rent fees. Staff communication lacking.

"Mixed Experience: Caring Staff with Room for Improvement"
The staff was caring but could improve attentiveness. Convenient location. Mother's favorite; would recommend.

"Second Choice, Slightly Farther"
This community was pleasant, but it came in second place. It was farther from our loved ones than we preferred.

"Great location, beautiful campus, older building compared to others"
The Inn at Silver Lake was our second choice. Perfect location, beautiful campus. The staff was great and responsive. However, the building wasn't as new as our first choice.

"The Inn at Silver Lake Falls Short"
Don't choose this place. They don't have enough staff, and they didn't tell us that when we moved our mom in. Unfortunately, she fell several times, ended up in the hospital, and got Covid during her stay at The Inn at Silver Lake. The memory care unit was separate from the independent/assisted living side. The assisted living side was nice if you're healthy and don't need advanced care. But if your health is getting worse and you need one-on-one help, I don't recommend it. It was hard to find staff sometimes. We'd finish our visit and then wait 20-40 minutes just to find someone to let us out with their badge. We had high hopes based on other people's experiences, but it was disappointing.

"Friendly Staff, Good Activities, but Food Quality Declined"
The staff are very friendly and quick to respond if I have any questions or concerns. They have tons of activities and a monthly calendar that's always full. When my loved one first got here, the food was very good, but since they changed chefs, it's gone downhill. My loved one noticed that assisted living has more food options than the memory care side. We had a couple of issues with the type of care she needed at first. They offer all types of care and they take Medicaid. Overall, it has been a pretty good experience and I would recommend them to others, just make sure to advocate for your loved one.

"Great care, clean environment, and pet-friendly community."
The place is clean and welcoming. The staff really help my dad out, and they take great care of him. We checked out other places, and this one even lets his cat live with him. The community is well-lit and overall, it’s a really nice place.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short on Management and Proactivity"
This place's management isn't good, and they don't plan ahead. It's not where you'd want your loved one long-term.

"Son-centric tour; prefer others."
This place is nice, but I preferred others. During the tour, the focus should be on the client.
