"Memory Care Unit Falls Short, Disappointing Experience"

The part of Pearl Street that's supposed to help people with memory problems doesn't seem ready for those with advanced Alzheimer's or dementia. They say that if someone moves into their regular assisted living, they can transition to the memory care unit if necessary. But after my dad left the memory care unit without permission, and we had to go to the hospital to adjust his medications, they said he couldn't come back. So we had to find him a new place to live. Overall, it was really disappointing and frustrating.

"Facility Failed to Deliver Promised Memory Care Services"

Our family felt tricked about their ability to manage our beloved's memory care. They failed to meet our hopes, and they had no plans to deliver on the promises they made to us.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living: Caution Advised"

Watch out, they can give you the help you require, but they might charge you extra if you need more care. So, be sure you understand what care you need. The staff was excellent during the day, but at night, they were often missing.

"Satisfied with Some Room for Improvement"

This place is pretty good. The staff is a mix, with some really good and others just okay, but that's normal everywhere. The front desk staff are really nice and helpful, always kind and pleasant. Overall, it's been a good experience. There have been some issues, but nothing we can't work out. It was hard at first, but it's getting better. The Director of Nursing is open and willing to talk, which is helpful. When I call, communication with the family is good, but they don't reach out to me when they should, especially in emergencies, like with my dad, though thankfully it turned out okay. The food is really quite good, but portions are a little small. Overall, it's good. The dining room looks nice. It's very clean and the residents seem to be enjoying themselves. They offer a wide variety of activities. The activity schedule is posted in the elevator and they hand out daily schedules. They also do outings. I would recommend them to family and friends

"Great care and activities make Pearl Street a top choice"

I moved my mother to The Residence At Pearl Street over a year ago. Even though the change was tough, the staff was really helpful and has stayed that way. The activities are great, with a variety of fun games, exercises, and social events every day. The meals are top-notch, and the friendly food service team works hard to cater to everyone's tastes. The management is also keeping the place updated, like the recent window renovation. Overall, I would suggest checking out Pearl Street if you’re considering assisted living.

"Assisted Living Facility Puts Profit Over Seniors' Well-being"

Placing two seniors in one small room because of their money isn't kind, it's just trying to make more money. [Name removed], you should feel ashamed! Taking people's life savings and then not caring about them is not right. I'm going to write about this on the internet so everyone can know. This assisted living facility doesn't have a heart.

"Dissatisfied caregivers and constant change cloud this assisted living facility."

This place isn't good. They're always switching out employees. None of them look satisfied, like they'd rather be somewhere else. There's a ton of better options out there for your folks.

"Comfortable Assisted Living with Family Close By"

My mother-in-law usually enjoys the food here. The staff are friendly and always ready to help. They encourage her to join in daily activities. The place is kept very clean, and the grounds look nice. It's near our family, and they provide what she needs. There's a buzzer for help when she needs it. I would suggest this community to others.

"Assisted Living Falls Short on Activity and Security"

My dad didn't do well here. They couldn't help him much. He kept trying to leave, even through windows and doors. There weren't any activities to keep him occupied. Since my dad was very active, it was tough for him. But for someone less active, it might be okay.
