The Residence at Penniman Hill (Opening Fall 2019)

"Great Assisted Living Experience!"
This place is awesome! My family member really enjoys the food, and there are tons of fun activities. They communicate well with us. Housekeeping happens once a week, and it's been fine. Some staff are responsive, but others aren't, so follow-up can be lacking. Overall, it's been a great experience. I'd totally recommend it to family and friends.

"Clean, welcoming facility with friendly staff and great outdoor space"
We picked The Residence at Penniman Hill because it's a brand-new place, very clean, and my mother could move into a never-before-used room. During our tour, we were impressed by everyone we met—the wellness directors, the sales person, and the daily caregivers. We didn’t spend much time with the executive director, but she seemed nice. I like the facility’s size; it's large enough for my mother to make friends but not so big that she would get lost. Since my mother has limited mobility, I appreciated the outdoor area with trees, benches, and grass where she can enjoy fresh air. I recommend this place if it fits your loved one's needs.

"Nice place, but staff lacks warmth"
It's a pretty nice place, but I didn't feel the staff was very friendly. The tour felt like a sales pitch and was too business-like.

"Clean and View-Lacking Visit"
We didn't tour together, but I visited. It was nice and clean, but no views, which she cares about. Maybe she'll gaze out her window a lot.
