"Mixed Experience at The Wellington Assisted Living"
We had a hard time figuring out when my mom could move in. The Wellington couldn't change that, but they were not good at keeping us updated. I had to call many times to get an answer. The internet and TV were unusable. We bought our own so Mom could use them. Mom doesn't love the food, maybe because she and Dad used to dine out and she misses that. Overall, I would recommend The Wellington. The apartments are nicer than others we looked at. A full kitchen and washer/dryer were a must for her. For the price, it's hard to find anything better.

"Manager Pressures Senior Citizen into Assisted Living"
Back in November, the person who manages our building came to me. This person wanted me to move out of my two-bedroom apartment. They said I was not paying enough rent. I tried to find a solution by offering to move to a one-bedroom apartment. But a few days after, the manager came to me again. This time, the suggestion was that I needed to move to assisted living. I told her no. I am 80 years old, yes, but I'm still healthy. I have no problems with my body or my mind that would require me to live in assisted living. But then she said I needed to apply for some assistance program called PACE. She explained that if I did, the state would pay an extra $3,000. My payment would only be $2,000 each month. I didn't like the sound of this. It sounded like something possibly illegal, like insurance fraud. Plus, I didn't think I would even be accepted by the program. She said I would, just because of my age. She also told me that my rent would go up if I didn't do this. She also said that I would be kicked out if I couldn't pay the higher rent.

"Smooth move-in; communication hiccup, but clean, active, and recommendable facility."
The move-in went smoothly. Sometimes it's hard to communicate, and I usually have to reach out a few times before getting a response. The cleaning staff is doing well in keeping my apartment clean. There are lots of different activities to do, and they really encourage everyone to join in. I think it's worth recommending; the price seems fair for the care and service they provide.

"Great Place for Mom, Needs Outdoor Upgrades"
Hi! My mom’s happy at the Wellington. The girls at the front desk are nice and helpful. It’s great that she has a safe place here, and she can even bring her dog! But, I think they could improve the outdoor area. The gazebo isn’t nice, and residents sit by the front door looking at parked cars. It’d be cool to have a bigger furnished patio out back for gatherings. Also, the view behind the building isn’t pleasant due to trash around the dumpster. I’d volunteer to discuss outdoor improvements—I’ve got an eye for design. Plus, I’d love to teach a weekly yoga class in the new year!

"Incredible Caregiver and Informative Updates!"
I believe they don't have enough staff, but my uncle's main caregiver is AMAZING. They share lots of helpful information and keep us informed about my loved one's activities. Plus, they even send pictures via email, which is fantastic.

"Communication Lags, But Worth the Cost"
It’s really tough to get a callback. It’s super annoying, especially when you’re trying to figure out care plans for older folks and nobody gets back to you to talk about what to do. This isn’t the first time it’s happened. Aside from the trouble with talking to someone, it’s a pretty decent deal for the price.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
The residents are lovely, and there are plenty of activities available. However, the furniture in the halls and lobby is quite old-fashioned. The cleanliness leaves much to be desired, especially with dirty rugs. The food provided for seniors is unhealthy and not up to par. COVID safety protocols are lacking, leading to several cases among the staff. On the bright side, the exterior of the facility is very pleasant.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
This assisted living facility has really nice residents. They offer plenty of good activities that are suitable. However, the furniture in the halls, dining room, and lobby looks very old and not modern. It's not very clean either, especially the rugs which are really dirty. The food for seniors is not good at all and isn't healthy. They also don't have good Covid safety rules; there have been many cases among the workers here. On the outside, though, it looks very nice and pleasant.

"Don't consider here!"
This review applies to #1 their business office and #2 their memory care unit #1 Extremely poor book keeping, poor management, and a dishonest manager who didn't hesitate to lie to us #2 Little to no communication between day and night shifts Fewer staff than need They ignored obvious medical concerns. They were unresponsive to simple and reasonable requests.

"Shady Facility Ignores Elderly, Holds Out on Debt"
This place owes my elderly mom $8000 and won't even bother to call her back. How can they think that's acceptable?

"Hospital-Like Facility with Uninviting Atmosphere and Location"
I wasn't a fan of where it's located. The place is three stories high and it kind of feels like a hospital. The people at the front desk were nice when I walked in, but the place didn't smell clean or feel warm and welcoming. Right off the bat, I could tell this wouldn't be my top choice compared to other spots. I didn't even book a tour.

"Office Management Poor, Staff Changes Often at Keystone"
Ever since Wellington assumed control of Keystone, the administrative office has been horrendous, particularly with English. They consistently overlook basic requests for crucial paperwork. The frequent staff changes are also getting troublesome. Apart from that, it's a decent place.

"Once Prime Living Facility, Now Grossly Mismanaged"
This assisted living facility used to be top-notch. But its staff situation has now become a complete letdown. The rate at which people leave is shocking. My mom told me that only a pair of kitchen workers are still around from when she moved into the gardens half a decade ago. When I tried to discuss this issue along with some other doubts, I had with, instead of helping, she just didn't care and was extremely rude. She even dared to tell me she was the boss and that all grievances had to go through her. After speaking with her, I was truly concerned for my mom's safety. I immediately transferred my mom to a better, more respectful community. While this used to be a premium place for anyone wanting to retire, it's currently far from that. There are too many obstacles with the management.

"Assisted Living Facility Review: Great Care, Room for Improvement"
This place is really nice. The people are caring. My family member enjoys bingo and other activities here. The food is tasty and the right amount. But, the nurses and caregivers need better communication. Overall, I'd suggest it to others.

"I highly recommend Keystone Woods!"
While we visited Keystone Woods, the staff welcomed us with smiles. They truly care about their work and how they treat visitors. The grounds are tidy and well-kept, with many spots for residents to sit and walk outside. The rooms are big and can have balconies if you want. It has a warm and inviting atmosphere.

"Never Again: Rudeness and Poor Care at this Facility"
I would never, ever consider putting my mother in this facility. The staff is extremely rude and the cleanliness is poor. Over the past three years, all the competent staff have been let go and replaced by people who simply do not show care towards the residents. I'm sorry, but this place is just not a good environment at all.

"Avoid This Place: Deteriorated Service and Unprofessional Staff Await"
This facility has significantly declined over the past four years. They dismissed the competent staff and replaced them with people who couldn't care less. The staff are extremely uncouth. I would absolutely never consider placing my mom in such an environment.

"Facility Losses Quality Over Time, Struggles With Food and Staff"
This place was a lot better 3 years ago. Now, it’s struggling. You can see it in the way they try to save money everywhere. There are days when they actually run out of food during meals. Sometimes you sit for an hour or more just waiting to order food. And when the food finally arrives, the basic stuff doesn't even seem properly cooked. The facility managers keep changing—three different ones in the lesser part of the past 4 years. Most of the staff just don’t seem that friendly. They almost never talk to the people living here.

"It's going pretty good."
The place is very clean, and the staff is friendly. I wish there was more orientation, though. We got a manual with great info, but a fact sheet about which pharmacies deliver would have been helpful. She’s been doing everything since moving in, going on all the excursions. She hasn’t complained about the food. We chose this place because the other residents seemed friendly and outgoing, and they have been wonderful, always saying hello. It’s great!

"Friendly Staff and Good Food for My Mom"
They've been really nice to my mother. Everyone is friendly, and the staff seems to know her pretty well. I have to admit, the food is good, and she hasn't complained much about it, which is a big deal for her. I like that there's always someone around. It’s independent living, not assisted living, so it’s great that help is always available. I do wish they would decorate a bit more for the holidays. The lobby is beautiful, and I think adding some decorations would really enhance it. I know there are people from different faiths, but even simple winter or fall decorations would be nice. They have some stuff outside, but not much inside. I just think it would make the place feel cheerier.
