"Fresh and Clean Memory Care with Spacious Apartments"

The memory care part of the facility is new, so everything is really fresh and clean. The apartments, which are basically rooms with a small kitchen, are a good size.

"Good Experience but Needs Improvement"

Overall, we've had a good time at The Residence at Boylston Place. But there are some things that could be better. My loved one is in a wheelchair, but his apartment isn't wheelchair-friendly. This has made things harder for him. For example, we had to take off the bathroom door, which means guests have no privacy when using his bathroom. The food is hit or miss—sometimes it's great, other times not so much. The aides are wonderful. Communication with the family is good overall. Housekeeping is also good. I don't have other places to compare to, but I'd recommend The Residence at Boylston Place based on what the resident expects.

"Assisted Living Needs More Welcoming Experiences and Activities"

The place could be better if they make newcomers feel welcome. They should also organize more activities for everyone to mingle and bond better.

"Wingate Prioritizes Profit over Safety and Renovations"

As someone who lives here, I'd say steer clear of Wingate. They've been telling us they're going to fix this place up for close to twelve months. The place is just falling to pieces. Even the dining room chairs aren't safe to sit on. The shared spaces have gross, old furniture in them. Wingate only cares about the money, it seems.

"Feels Like Family with Great Food"

This place feels like a big family. The food is very good. The boss listens to what we need. Housekeeping could be better, and we need more staff. Overall, I'm happy to be here.

"Delightful Public Areas; Helpful Staff Explained Options"

showed us everything and looked at both two-bedroom and studio units. The common spaces are nicely decorated.

"Review of Cozy Community"

This place feels more like a big family working together. The food is really good, and the director listens to what residents need. Housekeeping could be better, and they could use more staff. Overall, I'm glad to be here.

"Affordable with friendly staff, but not ideal for extensive care."

I was checking out this place when I was exploring options. The staff were really nice and helpful. It seemed like a good place overall. But, the cost for the level of care my loved one needed wasn't quite right. It just didn't seem like the best fit for us.

"Pleasant Staff, But Not Ideal Pricing for Our Needs"

I thought about this place when I was searching for choices. The workers were really nice and gave good help. It seemed like a good spot. But the cost setup didn't fit well for the care my family member required. So, unfortunately, it didn't seem like the right fit for us.

"Mixed Experience: Pleasant Atmosphere with Some Concerns"

Boylston Place is a nice, small place for folks needing some help. I picked it for my mom because it's close, cozy, has nurses, and offers different kinds of help. Overall, it's been good. The people who work there are nice and look after my mom. The place is kept up nicely and is near stores and restaurants. But there are two things that worry me. First, the activities they offer look good on paper, but not many people go or they're not very good. This might not bother some, but my mom needs things to keep her mind and body active. Second, the nurses can't do much. Like, when my mom was sick, they couldn't even take her temperature because she didn't have a thermometer. And when she had a tummy ache, they didn't have any medicine to help her. It's strange because the place my mom was in before, even though it was in another state, the nurses could do more. I guess I should've asked more questions before deciding.
