"Negligence and Harsh Conditions at Bethany Assisted Living Facility"
The worst nightmare of a daughter came true at Bethany Living. During COVID, my mom who lived there got severe bruises; I can provide evidences if asked. No one at the facility could enlighten me about these injuries. Whenever I spoke about it to my mom, she'd shudder. The proprietor seemed indifferent and prioritized her cable box over my mom's well-being. The facility went to the extreme of confiscuring my mom's toilet paper. I urge you not to entrust your loved ones to them, especially if they are unable to express themselves. When I reported this, the ombudsman had quite a few reasons to reprimand them.

"Comfortable and Friendly Assisted Living with Room for Improvement"
We picked this place because it's smaller, which suits my dad better than larger ones. His room is spacious; it used to be a house. I haven't tried the food, but my dad likes it. The best part so far is how close it is to me, and the people living here are nice. One downside is they don't seem to take residents out anywhere. I'm not sure if it's because of COVID or not. I would recommend this place for the right person.

"Avoid Bethany Living: Poor Conditions and Unfulfilled Promises"
Stay far away from Bethany Living, it is an awful facility. Do not even consider taking your loved ones here. The food they provide is extremely low-grade and served in limited amounts. Despite what their website proclaims about taking residents out and hosting planned activities, their claim is completely false. When inquired about an activity schedule, the owner simply dismissed it by saying they don't do outings or schedule any activities. Maybe they're referring to the fact that some of the residents attend a daycare thrice a week as their so-called 'outings'? On the rare occasions I've visited, I've found the residents to be merely coloring or watching NBC news - it's like they're being brainwashed. The facility is designed with a vacant outdoor patio equipped with zero chairs for residents to sit. The indoor temperature is either unbearably cold or extremely stuffy and hot. During the day, the windows remain shut preventing any fresh air from entering. At night, the heating system is either completely off or set to the lowest temperature. Exemplifying their stinginess, the visitor's bathroom downstairs has no paper towels. Furthermore, they have an electric hand dryer installed that doesn't function. Even bathroom trash cans remain without bags. With a monthly fee close to $5000, one would expect better quality food and at least satisfactory services. Once, a staff member was seen putting rice on a plate when the owner yelled at her for putting too much and asked her to remove some. My loved ones even experienced them diluting orange juice with tap water. They also claim to provide transportation. Yet, when my loved one required a ride to the doctor, the owner reluctantly agreed, only to later tell them they would have to arrange their future transportation on their own. The only redeeming aspect I observed was that their staff is very pleasant. However, that alone does not balance out the many deficiencies and woeful management at Bethany Living. Therefore, I say it once again, do not consider this facility for your loved ones.

"We Appreciate This Care Home"
The staff is friendly, and they take good care of my grandma. She enjoys the food, and the place is clean. They try to keep her active, but my concern is that the house doctor visits only once a month.

"Positive Experience at Care Home Recommended with Kind Staff"
My mom isn't here anymore, but our time was good. They couldn't fully help her, but everyone was nice. The staff is great and keeps the place tidy. They offer activities and the food is decent. Overall, it's good and I'd suggest this place.
