"Expensive Assisted Living Facility Provides Poor Service and Care"
The room my mom stayed in at the assisted living facility was really dirty. She had to spend hours in her bed, surrounded by all that mess. We had to ring the bell 7 to 8 times before any staff member would even answer us. We often had to wait more than an hour just to get someone's attention. My mom fell down three times while living there and ended up breaking her hip. The staff didn't make any effort to get the residents out of their rooms to participate in fun activities. No one there seemed friendly, except the person at the front desk. On top of all that, they kept adding extra fees to our bill. The service my mom received was really bad. Plus, it was pretty expensive to stay there. The facility isn't managed well at all.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short in Resident Care and Engagement"
Review Rewrite: We expected better attention to residents' cleanliness and care. Rooms lacked cleaning. More staff and friendlier care needed. Activities offered but not encouraged. Some days, residents left alone.

"Assisted Living Facility Lacks Transparency and Comprehensive Care"
This place looks nice and works well if your family member can mostly take care of themselves. The food is okay and there are some fun things to do. But watch out - they might not tell you everything if your family member needs extra help. We were let down here. They knew our family member needed a lot of help, but the staff seemed really stressed out by it. One care worker told me she couldn't help other people because she was too busy helping our family member. That didn't make me feel good. Our family member got by, but looking back, I'd choose a place with full-time care. To put it simply, if you're pretty independent and just need a place with meals, light help, and activities, it's okay. If you need more help, keep looking.

"Subpar Care and Unprofessional Staff at Assisted Living Facility"
My close family member lives here. The care is just okay. The place looks nice but I've seen the staff act badly towards the residents, their families and even each other. I saw the food servers treat my aunt badly because she had a hard time choosing her meal. They really don't seem to care. I wouldn't suggest this place.

"Mom's Life Better and Engaging at Brightview"
Choosing Brightview for my mom was a good decision. She's only been there a few weeks, but her life is clearly better and more engaging now. There are some things we still need to adjust to, but overall, it has been very successful.

"Unhappy with Care and Activities at Assisted Living"
My family member stayed here for a short time, and I really wasn’t happy with what they offered. We told the care team a long time before about what my family member needed help with, but they acted like they didn’t want to help and were not nice about it. The things for them to do there were also really bad. My family member didn’t get to do much at all and was left alone a lot. I wouldn’t tell anyone to send their family here.

"Unfriendly Staff and Lack of Respect"
The staff who give out medications and help with personal tasks like dressing aren't friendly. They don't even say hello or good morning. Sometimes, my husband isn't treated with respect.

"Memory care facility falls short on services."
We didn't stay long because our loved one didn't like it. The place was clean, and the staff was friendly. But it's more memory care than assisted living. Activities were lacking, and the services were poor. Gorgeous location, but not for independent folks.

"Great care and support for short-term stay."
My mother broke her arm and needed temporary care. She was in a rehab facility and had to move to assisted living for a few months to save her rehab days covered by Medicare. We were worried about the cost but wanted the best care for her. Brightview at Fallsgrove was ideal because it had the right room size and was close to the dining and activity rooms. Everyone has been very supportive and has taken great care of my mom. She’ll stay here until we know if her arm is healing well later this month.
