"New Activities Director Tanking Quality at Assisted Living Facility"
This place was once a good spot where I thought my mother-in-law would enjoy her final years, but lately, it seems like problems with management have brought down the quality of life here. The new person in charge of activities should pay more attention to creating fun activities and trips instead of acting like an unskilled, rude know-it-all. Hey there, young one, news tends to spread and when the people living here and the staff don't like your attitude, you can bet we will hear about it.

"Unprofessional Dinner Director Makes Visits Uncomfortable"
The Dinner Director, is just awful. It's unprofessional, not ok. When I was having a meal with my mom, I saw how mean he was to the rest of the staff. The way he acted made me feel really uneasy during my visit. I just don't feel good about having someone like him around my mom, who's really important to me.

"Assisted Living Facility"
Make sure to always ask for written confirmation of any agreements. Sometimes, they admit to errors with a simple Oops. This place is all about making money, and they're quite good at it. Their main focus is on the business side, not on being truthful or fair. Be sure to investigate what they mean by skilled care. However, the staff like resident assistants, dining room workers, maintenance, and housekeeping are fantastic. The ladies at the concierge desk are also friendly and provide useful information.

"Mistrust Promises, Rely on Staff at Assisted Living Facility"
Make sure to keep everything they promise in writing. I've heard "Whoops, we messed up" one too many times. Remember, they're running a business that makes a hefty profit. The business aspect is their main focus, not honesty and truth. Do some deep diving into what they term as "specialized care". That being said, the resident helpers, dining staff, maintenance crew, and cleaners have been nothing less than lovely. The concierge ladies are very helpful and full of information.

"Wonderful Care and Friendly Atmosphere at Brightview Assisted Living"
Both of my parents live here, and I think it’s a great place. The staff is super kind and caring. They have lots of activities, and the other residents are friendly. The building is always in good shape and nicely decorated for holidays. I definitely recommend this assisted living community.

"Beautiful and clean, very friendly staff, but lacking community engagement"
The assisted living facility is beautiful and clean, and the staff is very friendly. However, there aren't many active members in the community, and the activities they provided had very little turn-out when we were there.

"Best Choice After Comparing Senior Living Options"
I strongly recommend Brightview Mays Chapel Ridge. My husband and I visited many senior living communities. We looked at entry fees, amenities, location, and services. Brightview turned out to be the best choice for us.

"Nice Place with Helpful Staff and Good Amenities"
Brightview is a really nice place. It's clean, bright, and has lots of activities for residents. It's also in a convenient spot with shuttle buses for shopping. The one-bedroom apartment is a bit small but okay for one person. It would be better with a door between the bedroom and bathroom. The facility is big enough to offer many services but not too big. They also clean every two weeks, which is a nice extra.

"Mixed feelings about Roundwood Rd. Assisted Living Facility"
I stayed at the place at 122261 Roundwood Rd. in Timonium, Maryland, for a while. It cost $4000 to get in, and then $4350 every month after that. My apartment had two bedrooms and one and a half bathrooms. It also had a kitchen and a washer and dryer. There was a fitness center, and they provided two meals a day. There are 163 condos in total. They cover the cost of utilities like phone and cable.
