"Terrible Conditions and Neglect Reported at Cedar Tree Assisted Living"
I recently had to transfer my mom out of Cedar Tree assisted living and there were multiple reasons why. Despite the picture perfect advertisements, Cedar Tree is seriously lacking. My mom was often left in dirty, urine-soaked and sometimes even feces-soaked adult diapers. They seemed to limit her water intake just to avoid changing her more often. Shockingly, we found she was on unauthorized medication and felt forced to not mention anything to us during visits. On top of all this, we found pressure wounds which were overlooked by the caregivers, causing serious skin degradation. I've made numerous complaints, complete with photos, texts, and incident notes to both the staff and the owner. Each time the promise of improvement was short-lived. Food we sent was often stolen by staff instead of given to her. When we were restricted from visiting during Covid, we did our best to check up through windows and doors, but found her room disgustingly dirty upon our return.

"Friendly Staff and Great Care, Rooms a Bit Small"
The staff are really friendly, and the caretaker we have is excellent. She quickly got our loved one settled into a good routine and puts in a lot of effort with all her clients. The rooms are a bit small, but they work just fine.

"Affordable Cedar Tree Falls Short in Business Management"
Cedar Tree costs less than other places we checked out. They know their stuff when it comes to nursing and it's a pretty nice place. But they don't seem to get how to run a business, which is why we didn't choose them.

"Clean, Happy, Friendly: Great Place for Mom, Visitors Approve!"
My sister came here and she said the house was really clean and taken care of. The people living there looked happy and the workers were nice. I think it would be a good place for Mom.

"Clean Facility Lacks Activities and Healthy Food Options"
Major lack of activities for folks living here. It feels like a ghost town. They've got a super strict schedule too, with lights out by 8:00 at night. My mom didn't even see a single vegetable for the first two weeks she was there. It was only after we started bringing her fresh produce that they started serving some. On the bright side, the place is really clean, and the staff is pretty nice. It might be alright if you don't need mental stimulation, but my mom's mind is still pretty sharp. We're considering moving her elsewhere.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short in Care and Comfort"
My husband stayed there for three days. I visited every day for hours. They left him in a dark room with a TV that only buzzed, no picture. He asked for pudding or ice cream, they didn't have any. They gave me a cup of pink liquid for him. They only gave a partial refund even though he was taken to the hospital and died one hour later.

"Disappointed with Subpar Care and Customer Service"
My husband stayed at this facility for only three days, during which I spent a lot of time visiting him. They kept him in a dim room where the TV was malfunctioning - it emitted only a buzz without showing any images. When he requested some food items, namely pudding or ice cream, they revealed that they didn't have either. Instead, they handed me a cup filled with pink liquid for him. Despite being there for such a short time, I was only given a partial refund, even though my husband was moved to the hospital from there and sadly passed away an hour later.

"Decent Assisted Living Community"
Overall, it's a decent community with prices similar to other places. However, there aren't many activities for residents—most just watch TV or do crossword puzzles. The backyard isn't secure, so staff must supervise when residents go outside. Laundry is done together, and sometimes it seems like they use too much detergent. But they do take good care of the residents, and everything is kept clean.
