"Great staff and good rooms, but food could be better"

I chose this community because we liked the staff and the place. The owner also spent a lot of time with me on our first visit, which was really helpful. The room size is good, my mom has a single room. She doesn’t like the food much because it’s pretty routine, but it is nutritious. Our favorite thing about Good Samaritan Assisted Living is the staff; they take excellent care of the residents.

"Genuine Concern and Conscientious Care at Good Samaritan"

They and the staff make the place warm and welcoming. Residents stay together in common areas and get personal attention. Medical and health needs are well taken care of, and families are kept informed about any changes. Families get suggestions for extra support if they can help. Birthdays and holidays are celebrated with family dinners and stories, and small gifts like clothes are given. Families can trust that their loved ones' safety and well-being are the top priority at Good Samaritan. I highly recommend Good Samaritan Assisted Living for great care and a loving environment.

"Assisted Living Gem: Clean, Cozy, but Limited Dementia Care"

Located in a quaint cul-de-sac, this assisted living facility offers charming bedrooms and impeccable cleanliness. With four cozy sitting areas and a delightful summer patio, there's plenty of space to relax. Plus, the pricing is reasonable. However, it's important to note that the staff here may struggle with more challenging cases of dementia. If your loved one tends to exhibit aggression, this might not be the best fit. The approach of one staff member, she, seems to lean toward scolding rather than humor. For those with predictably docile and quiet dispositions, though, this could still be a lovely option.

"Well-Kept Community with a Friendly Family"

The place is well maintained, and the family managing the community is friendly. However, it's not the perfect match.

"Modest, solid-looking neighborhood"

Good Samaritan is in a modest, solid-looking neighborhood on a cul-de-sac near family homes, including the owner's daughter's and grandchildren's homes. The bedrooms are small but suitable, both single and shared. Everything is spotless. There are three different sitting areas for residents: the front living room, a couple of armchairs by a window near the kitchen, and a sunny back room with a big TV, plus a patio in the backyard. I appreciated this variety. I could imagine my dad sitting near the kitchen while the owner cooked, chatting in the living room with visitors, or watching a ballgame on the big-screen TV. There's a dog named Boxy, a pug, who is a bit yappy but loved by the residents. My dad likes dogs, and this place seemed to be the best value.
