"Unexpected Charges and Regret at GH House II"
When I checked out BT House around , it was empty, so I decided to visit GH House II on Presswick Lane. The place was spotless, but despite that, I wish I never put my relative there and moved them out ASAP. They're now doing really well in a different care home. At GH House II, you're expected to pay a $4000 admin fee that you can't get back, $4000 a month that could increase after a month (ours went up to $4700), and cover the cost of things like gloves, wipes, and personal stuff.

"Unpleasant Experience with Assisted Living Facility's Management"
The only good thing here was cleanliness. Dealing with the manager was a nightmare. My sister was assessed for the most intense level of care before she moved in. However, within a month, the manager increased our fees by $700. She said my sister was more of a handful than she thought. When I questioned her, she was cruel and just told me to pay the extra $700 or move my sister somewhere else. She also reminded me I would lose the non-refundable $4,000 admin fee. I once brought my sister some candy, which she was freely allowed to eat. But the manager decided she had the power to control this and would decide when and how much candy my sister could have. Visiting our loved one was a hassle too. Even though we always called before showing up, we often had to wait 15-20 minutes to see her. It was like the manager didn't want us visiting. I noticed there weren't really any activities for the residents, except for watching TV. The manager had a bad temper and it seemed like there was a lack of compassion and respect for the therapists, residents, and families. My sister wasn't happy or healthy there. She's so much better since we moved her.

"Excellent care, cleanliness, and meal service for my mother"
They’ve done a great job taking care of my mother. They’re very kind, and every time I visit, the place is always clean and smells nice. They cook the meals on-site and are very good about managing appointments and paperwork. I’ve enjoyed working with them. Even though taking care of my mom is not an easy job, they’ve kept her comfortable and the rooms spotless.
