"HeartHomes: A Comfortable, Caring Community"

We really like HeartHomes. When we visited, it felt comfortable and homey. The staff knows all the residents since it’s a small community. The location is great, and they have nice front porches. Our loved one enjoys planting vegetables in spring and playing bingo. We highly recommend this community to other families.

"Assisted Living Facility Review: Mixed Experience with Care"

I was happy with how they cared for my mom at first. But the last time she stayed there for a short break, things went wrong. When I picked her up, they said she hadn’t been herself that week. I took her home, but two days later, we had to rush her to the hospital. The doctor said she had a stroke, but it didn’t happen in the last two days. If they noticed something was wrong, they should have called me. Sadly, my mom passed away since then.

"Clean, friendly staff, and a smaller facility!"

The facility was really clean, and the staff was friendly. I like that it is smaller, with only 16 residents. I am looking for short-term respite care and hope there will be a bed available for my mother when I need it.

"Spacious community too far for mom's preference"

We thought about moving to Hearthomes. It's a pretty place. But my mom felt it's too far from me, and she prefers bigger communities.

"A warm and welcoming community for families!"

This community feels more like a home than a hotel or institution. I can visit anytime, and it always gives me a comforting feeling. The staff are friendly, caring, attentive, and really understand how families feel. This is a lovely community with some great activities. We are very happy with our move, and I highly recommend checking out this place.

"Nice Community, But Not for My Mother"

My tour of this place went well. It's a smaller community than others I've seen. The building is older and the rooms are small. It just wasn't the right place for my mom. The community looks nice and seems well kept. The staff was friendly and showed me around. It's a nice place, but not the right fit for my mother.

My visit to this place was okay. It's not as big as some others. The building is old, and the rooms are tiny. It just didn't seem like the right fit for my mom. It looks nice though. Everything I saw seemed pretty well taken care of. The staff was friendly and showed me around. It's a nice place, just not what we need for my mom.

"Great staff and a happy resident at HeartHomes"

We are really happy with HeartHomes at Bay Ridge. She seems very content here. Before this, she was in a place she didn’t like. She says the staff here are really nice. Every time we visit, she is very involved. Once, when I dropped her off, some workers and residents were out front. They were friendly and asked about her visit. Everything’s been great at this facility so far.

"Very Satisfied with HeartHbomes at Bay Ridge Facility"

We’re really pleased with HeartHbomes at Bay Ridge. She seems very content here. We had her in another place before where she wasn’t happy. Now she says the staff here are super nice. Whenever we visit, she’s always involved and lively. One time when I dropped her off, there were workers and residents at the front who asked about her visit, and they were really friendly. Everything has been going great at this place.

"A nice small assisted living facility"

I give this property 4 stars overall. Cleanliness, 4 stars; Friendliness, 5 stars; value, 4 stars; Care Services, 4 stars. Can't rate activities, haven't seen any. Nice small assisted living facility. First impression: liked single level, no stairs or elevators.

"Not Enough Staff for Residents' Needs"

The place is really clean, and the staff is quite friendly. They organize activities, but sometimes they don't follow through. They need more staff—I paid for level three care, but I didn't get the help I needed. The staffing ratio of one person to 14-15 residents isn't sufficient.

"Insufficient Staff Hinders Assisted Living Facility Services"

The place is really spotless, and the employees are generally nice. They've got activities planned, but they don't always get around to them. They definitely need more staff, I was shelling out for level three services, but wasn't actually getting the assistance I needed. They failed to fulfill their duties. I don't think just one employee for every 14-15 folks living there is adequate.

For $4,500 a month, my mom should get better care. They give her too much medicine, so she just sleeps. The staff is friendly, but we rushed the decision. I wish we chose somewhere else.

"High cost, lackluster care at Mom's living facility"

I don't really believe that my mom is getting the right care for $4,500 a month. It seems like they give her too many meds so they don't have to handle her. Because of this, she's sleeping way too much. I mean, the workers there are good and nice to her. And I guess there could be worse places for her to stay. I just think we rushed the choice of this place and I wish she was somewhere else. I do understand she needs to be somewhere like this, but this one just isn't right.

"Happy with the care, but room housekeeping could improve"

Overall, we are pretty happy with this place. The staff is good about calling me and keeping me updated on how things are going. The food is decent, maybe a 4 out of 5—sometimes the meat is a bit tough. The housekeeping could use some work, though. They could vacuum more often and take out the trash more regularly.

"Caring Assisted Living Center: A Perfect Place for Mom"

The place I chose for my mom is just right for her. The people living there are friendly. My mom even made friends with a lady who used to be a nurse a long time ago. The staff are kind and helpful, starting from the owner I met when my mom first came, to Ilka, Vicky, Angela, and everyone else. They treat my mom and the other residents nicely.

"We Liked This Cozy Place"

We really liked this place. It feels cozy and welcoming. It seems like there would be fewer interruptions during the day compared to other assisted living facilities. The cost is a bit high, but we’ll explore our options. I didn’t give it 5 stars because I’m not sure about pet acceptance, and it’s pricey. Also, there’s no dedicated activities director, and the room is quite small. However, there’s a charming little TV room next to one of the available rooms.
