"Poor communication leads to unsatisfying visit at assisted living facility."
The facility and A Place for Mom didn't communicate well. I thought I had an appointment, but the owner didn't know because she was on vacation. I got to talk to her on the phone. She was kind of rude and said no tours happened when she was gone. The inside of the place was too hot and messy. The overly fancy furniture didn't suit the place. It wasn't a friendly space to live in. The only good thing was the nice nurse aide who let me in. I appreciated the owner getting back to me after her holiday.

Very clean. Feels like family. Caregivers are friendly and attentive. Easy to discuss concerns.

It's super clean, feels like home, and the people who take care of everyone are really nice. My husband and I both liked the caregivers a lot. They're friendly, and I felt okay talking to them about my mom's health stuff.
