"Good, but distant and pricey"

Good community, but too far and fees were higher than expected.

"Community with High Activity and Pricing Considerations"

We really liked this community. It was very lively and well-maintained. The cost was a bit too much for us.

"Assisted Living Facility Engages Early Onset Alzheimer's Patient as Staff"

We picked Kensington Park because my sister has early Alzheimer's. They hired her as staff. It's been positive; I'd suggest it.

"Astonishingly High Prices For Shared Rooms"

Just exchanged messages with this place and their prices are totally outrageous. They told me that for a shared room - one is about 99 square feet, and the other is approximately 140 square feet, and they have to share a shower but have separate toilets, they're charging $7750/month. I think that's ridiculously pricey, no matter what services they're providing.

"Beautiful facility with good care"

Beautiful facility. Lovely location, not too far from [Removed]. Lots of information. I like that there aren't too many residents and that they have good care. Didn't get to visit with many residents during a meal.

"Great place with helpful staff and nice amenities"

My sister and I really liked this place. The staff did a great job showing us around and answering all our questions. We felt our mom would have been happy here. They offer lots of great amenities and the rooms are nice, but there is a waiting list. I’d definitely recommend scheduling a tour here.

"Fantastic tour at Kensington Park Senior Living"

We liked Kensington Park Senior Living a lot. It's really nice there, and the person who showed us around was super friendly. It smelled much better than the place my loved one was at before. The tour was really good!

"Great Care, Friendly Staff, Delicious Food"

As soon as I walked into Kensington Park, I was really impressed. The staff and residents were all smiling and chatting, there was a piano playing softly in the background, and lots of sunlight was coming in through the sunroom. I decided to choose Kensington Park for my husband, and I still think it's great. The care is top-notch, the staff is super friendly, and the food is delicious. Even my husband, who doesn’t usually use big words, said it was amazing on his second day!

"Great care in a clean community!"

I visited this community, and the staff was great at answering all our questions about the care provided. I found the place to be clean, and I really liked it. Families should tour this place for their loved ones' care.

"Amazing care and kindness at Kensington Park!"

I visited many places before going to Kensington Park, but I saved the best for last. This place is truly amazing. Moving my mom, who has Alzheimer's, from her home of 50 years was very hard for me, especially since I live overseas. I wanted her to be in a safe place where she would be treated with kindness and dignity. I also needed a place that would provide good care for her Alzheimer’s journey, serve good food, and have activities to keep her engaged. Kensington Park exceeds my expectations in every way. The staff is genuinely kind and caring, from the people who clean the rooms to the management. They understand dementia and treat my mom with respect and patience. The place is spotless, warm, and welcoming. The rooms are peaceful, spacious, and soundproof. The grounds are beautiful, and the activities are fantastic. Each area offers activities that suit the needs of its residents, whether for independent living, assisted living, or advanced dementia. I highly recommend Kensington Park! It stands out above all the other places I visited. At least go for a visit; you’ll see why I chose it for my mom. Thank you, Places for Mom, for helping me find this great place.

"So glad we chose this place for Mom!"

The first two weeks have been great. The staff has been amazing in helping Mom settle in and adapt to this big change. She is happy, busy, and engaged. The personal attention and care are more than we hoped for.

"Attentive, caring, and very professional"

There have been no issues. They are attentive, responsive, caring, and very professional. My mom has been there for just over a month, so my experience is limited, but so far I am very impressed with Kensington Park Senior Living and would highly recommend them.

"Friendly, very clean, and has a nice creek path."

The staff was amazing—always helpful and friendly. They handled the unique behaviors of their older residents with kindness and a good sense of humor. The place was super clean. We ate in the dining hall every week and would joke by running our fingers along the woodwork, and there was never any dust. Fresh flowers were always around, making it feel more luxurious and comfortable than our own homes. The best part for my dad, while he could still walk, was the path by the creek behind his building.

"We love this place!"

They really care about you as a person, not just a number. It’s not about them; it’s about the people living there. The food was excellent. I enjoyed at least two lunches, and the meals were made just for you—not cafeteria-style. It didn’t come in a plastic container; it felt like a fine restaurant. Laundry services are available too. I love the beautiful setting. My mom is very alert. They are careful not to over-medicate. They listen to us and aren’t set in their ways. I’m glad they worked with us instead of just enforcing rules.

"Exceeded our expectations in every way!"

I helped an older friend find assisted living after she fell and went through rehab. We looked at Kensington Park because of its location, but after visiting and meeting the staff, we knew this was the right place for her. My friend has been there for two weeks now, and we couldn't be happier. Her physical and mental health have improved a lot in this short time, even before starting the planned physical therapy. This facility has gone beyond our expectations in every way. The staff, from the administration to the caregivers, are always professional, helpful, friendly, and kind. The residents and staff are welcoming, creating a warm and cheerful atmosphere with lots of chances to socialize and, importantly, good food. As her friend, I really appreciated how the staff showed concern for me during this stressful time and worked to reduce my worries. Throughout the process of settling my friend in, everyone was as helpful as they could be, and I am very thankful to them.

"Great place, but some language and training issues"

The place looks really nice and I’d give it more than 5 stars for cleanliness if I could! They offer a lot of fun activities throughout the day. The staff-to-resident ratio is better than at other places we’ve visited, and they respond quickly. One problem we’ve noticed is that many of the care staff don’t speak English as their first language, which can make communication tricky and lead to some cultural misunderstandings. They also need some extra training on simple things like using a shoehorn and taking care of dentures. These details might have been missed in their specialized training.

"Beautiful community. Prices are a dealbreaker for Mom."

This community is beautiful. Margaret Newman and Courtney were very professional and took their time! The residents were engaged and enjoyed activities. The prices are higher than my mom’s budget, at almost $7,000 per month for a shared apartment. The studio is $8,200. I was really impressed with this place, and I think my mom would be happiest here compared to all the other places I've visited, but the cost is a dealbreaker. I told Margaret about this, and she will speak with the Executive Director and get back to me tomorrow.

"Great Studio Apt, Convenient Location, Affordable Fees"

I really like the studio apartment here. It's close to where I work. There is a $2500 entrance fee. They provide two meals and weekly housekeeping.

"Comfortable Assisted Living Facility with Tour Requested for Review"

The discussion and tour were really good. The place feels warm and cozy. It's affordable, too. I asked for another tour. My only worry is they can't care for bedridden folks.

"Nice Place but Too Quiet and Lonely"

The apartments and outside areas are really nice, but it's pretty quiet and not many people around. It feels almost too lonely.
