"Feels like home, great care, and social atmosphere"
I was pleased that this place doesn’t feel like a big institution where my mom wouldn't take part in activities. It feels like a home, where the residents are treated kindly, eat well, socialize, and are very happy. This gives me peace of mind since I live out of town, and she’s close to people who can visit if they want to.

"Bad Hygiene and Lack of Care in Assisted Living Facility"
This assisted living facility is not what a home should be for your loved ones. It's dirty, and it seems like the owners are only concerned about money. They serve the same meals repeatedly, so make sure to check the menu before you decide. There's a lack of entertaining activities - the residents just watch TV all day and are not taken outside. Some residents pay extra for personal hygiene products in their monthly fee, but the owners don't supply these items. These people sometimes have to borrow from others because they don't have their own. The facility does not ensure proper hygiene; residents aren't bathed well. On Sundays, when they should be enjoying a warm meal, they are not provided one. Residents should not be using the same cleaning cloth they bathe with, that's just unclean. The facility also lacks sanitation; the owners don't even allow the use of bleach. The owner and his wife do not care for the elderly or their families. Please, do not be duped.

"Neglect and Poor Hygiene Plague Assisted Living Facility"
This facility is unfit for your loved one. The building is unsanitary, and it's clear that the owners are more interested in their profit than the comfort and care of the residents. They serve the same meals on repeat, which gets monotonous. There are no activities arranged for the residents. Instead, they just spend their days staring at the TV. Don't be fooled when they tell you that the cost of toiletries like Depends is included in the monthly expenses. They don't provide them, forcing residents to share amongst themselves. Bathing isn't done properly here. Despite it being a Sunday, hot meals are not served. They make use of the same washcloth both for cleaning and bath, which isn't hygienic at all. The place is not adequately sanitized as bleach isn't allowed by the owner. In short, Kashay and his wife Nicole lack compassion for the elderly and their families. Don't be deceived by their words.

The facility is unsanitary. They treat their residents poorly. The owner doesn't seem to genuinely care for the residents; he is more interested in making money. He doesn't organize activities or outings for the residents. They wash the residents with the same rags used for cleaning. The residents' sheets are dirty. They serve the same meals every week, and the food is often stale. I would advise anyone considering this facility for a loved one to visit and see the conditions for themselves. Please take the time to report any issues you notice.

The facility is extremely unclean, and the residents aren't being treated properly. The owner seems to be more concerned about making money than the well-being of his residents. He never arranges any activities or excursions for the residents to enjoy. They are bathed with the same rags that are used for cleaning, which seems unsanitary. Sleeping on dirty sheets seems to be a regular occurrence for the residents. They eat the same meals every week, and the food often tastes stale. The residents themselves would advise against sending your loved ones here. I highly recommend paying a visit to this place and seeing for yourself. Please take action and report these terrible conditions.

"Nice place with friendly staff and a homey feel"
Ma Maison is very clean and well-maintained. It might not be as modern as some other places, but it’s really nice. It’s not the cheapest, but I’ve heard of people paying much more. I wish there were more activities, but my mother-in-law probably wouldn’t join in anyway. There were a few times when communication with the managers wasn’t great, but that was just for a short period. Otherwise, things have been good. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The facility is bright and cheerful, and they really encourage residents to go outside. It doesn’t feel institutional; it feels like home. The location is very convenient. I would recommend it to others. It might not suit everyone, but it really works for us.
