"Disappointing Service at Assisted Living Community"
This place wasn't the greatest. They forgot we were coming, which felt unprofessional. It didn't seem like the right place for our loved one.

"Not Quite the Right Fit"
The presentation was good, and the facility seemed nice. However, it didn’t quite meet our expectations—it’s a bit older and not very modern. Ultimately, it wasn’t the right fit for us.

"Mixed experience, declined during Covid; nursing issues; unadministered medications."
I think this place went downhill a lot during Covid. Before Covid, I complained about it being dirty, and they would fix it when I told them. But during Covid, I couldn't visit for about a year. So I don't know what it's like now. I moved my loved one out, and the new place is cheaper and takes better care of them. When we left Morningside House of Laurel, they gave us a bunch of medications and creams that they never gave him. Most of them were expired, and they were worth a lot of money. They have big problems with nursing. In the time he was there, they had three different bosses and nurses, but none of them fixed the nursing problems. Before Covid, it was okay because I could visit every day and check on things. But during Covid, I was really worried about how well they were taking care of him.

"Moved Out"
I didn't have a great time at this place. My loved one had health problems, and that caused more issues. Sometimes, they didn't even give my loved one a bath when I visited. Most of the staff were nice and took care of my loved one every day. The community listened to my concerns about some things. But there were a lot of changes in management happening. The price was okay, and they worked with me at first. Because of my experience, I moved my loved one out of there. I can't say how it is now. Others have had similar problems, too.

"Aunt's Favorite: Morningside House of Laurel!"
My aunt enjoyed the community at Morningside House of Laurel. She made friends with other residents, and the food was good. Compared to other places she's lived, it's definitely worth the price.

"Poor Customer Service at Assisted Living Facility"
When I tried to call the front desk, the person who answered wasn't very helpful. I had to call back three times and each time I was left on hold for seven minutes. I even had to send an email this morning to get someone.

"Caring Staff and Great Activities at Morningside"
My mom moved from another state to Maryland and lived at Morningside for 6 years. With the help of the staff and my family, she got great care. Even with her memory problems, the staff made her feel safe and comfortable. My mom and the staff became friends, shared stories, and laughed a lot. She liked the food and activities, especially the music, kids performing, and church services. The staff meets everyone’s needs and are now better at helping people who are deaf or hard of hearing. Some of the staff even came to my mom’s services when she passed away. That shows how caring and dedicated they are.
