"Affordable Care with Personal Touch at Tudor Heights"

We picked Tudor Heights because they offer similar help but it's cheaper. The people working there really spend time with the folks living there. They learn what they like and what they need. I think others should check them out too.

"Life-Threatening Errors at Tudor Frights Assisted Living"

I hoped my mom would like this place, but it turned out to be a really dangerous mistake. When I say it almost killed her, I'm not kidding. They messed up her medicine countless times and didn't do much after she had a bad fall. Because of this, Mom's still dealing with these problems at Tudor Frights. The boss, she always tries to make it sound better than it is, but she isn't involved in what's happening each day. She says she'll do stuff, but she never does. The nurses are drowning in the work they have to do and their boss isn't helping them out. I would say go find a different place for your loved one's assisted living.

"Tudor Nightmares, not Dreams"

I thought my mom would enjoy it here, but this place nearly ended her life, and that's not a joke. From giving wrong medicines repeatedly, to neglecting her after a severe fall, my mom's still facing the backlash from Tudor Nightmares. The person in-charge always tries to paint a pretty picture, but they don't understand what happens daily. Their promises are just empty words. The nurses are burdened with too much work, and their boss doesn't help or guide them. I'd say find another place for your family's assisted living needs.

"Peregrine's Tudor Heights: A Failed Institution Hiding Behind A Mask"

Tudor Heights seems nice at first but don't be tricked by its cozy appearance. It's all an illusion. Once my family member was living there, I immediately realized this place was a mistake. The director, who seemed pleasant and interested before we started, completely disappeared. Our concerns were entirely ignored. It's clear her main talent is marketing, always trying to paint every issue in a bright color. Each problem I highlighted, she downplayed. Even basic nursing care standards and care plans fell short, but she keeps claiming they're improving. They're not. Errors regarding medication were promised to be investigated and reported back to us - yet we heard nothing. It showed a complete lack of care or respect. This seems to be the usual method of Peregrine, which is in charge of Tudor Heights. Even reaching out to Peregrine's leader brought us the same - empty promises and no action taken. No response to further contact. The head nurse spends all her time in an office. I have no clue how she assesses each resident every 45 days from her desk. She relies on her aides, without inspecting anything herself! These health aides are 'her eyes and ears'. They've essentially taken over, but without someone keeping an eye on them. Care plans are being disregarded, personal belongings disappear despite laundry supposedly being handled separately, and communication is poor. The head nurse is rude to staff and residents' families. Doesn't contact doctors when necessary and plainly doesn't seem interested in the residents. Careless nurses don't get fired for poor healthcare, only if they get caught using their phones. The main leader doesn't get it. She'll only tell you pleasant stuff and does nothing about real problems. She obviously cares more about her paycheck. Peregrine, Tudor Height's parent company based in New York, seems uninterested in devoting time or money to address this disaster from afar. Tudor Heights really needs to start over, beginning with their director and head nurse.

"Stay Away From Tudor Heights: Poor Management and Care"

Tudor Heights looks nice and feels like home when you first see it. But looks can trick you, and this is one of those times. When my family member moved in, I quickly realized something was wrong here. The place's boss, who was so nice before my family member arrived, was suddenly nowhere. She ignored my complaints. She was the marketing director before this and it shows -- she always tries to make the bad stuff sound good. She made my complaints seem small. The nursing care here isn't good and they aren't following the plans they made for care, but she said they were doing better. They aren't though. They messed up my family member's medication and promised to look into it and tell me what happened, but they never did. They didn't care. The boss of the company Peregrine, which owns Tudor Heights, wasn't any better when I complained to him. The head nurse stays in her office all day. I don't know how she checks on residents every 45 days like she's supposed to. She trusts what the nurse assistants say without checking if it's true. They said they're "her eyes and ears." These nurse assistants run the place. Nobody looks over their work or holds them accountable. They're expected to help with going to the bathroom and giving showers, but they don't. Despite this, they mark these jobs as done. They can get away with it, because the head nurse doesn't seem to care. Clothes and other stuff go missing even though they say everyone's laundry is done on its own. They don't communicate well. The head nurse isn't professional and doesn't want to hear any complaints. She's really mean to families and other workers. She doesn't talk to the doctor when she should, and she doesn't seem to care about the residents. Bad nursing workers almost never get fired. Only if they're using their phones at work will they get kicked out. The same bad workers keep working there and keep not helping. The director doesn't know what she's doing. She'll say anything to make you happy, but doesn't fix real problems. She clearly just wants her paycheck. Tudor Heights needs to fire its director and head nurse and hire better people. Peregrine, who owns Tudor Heights, is in Buffalo, New York. They don't seem to want to fix these problems from so far away.

"Review of Cozy Haven"

The director made me feel comfortable, asked important questions, and gave a friendly tour. The facility is well-designed with pleasant communal rooms. Resident rooms are a bit small, and the halls were warm due to AC repairs. Overall, residents seemed happy, and the indoor area was nice.

"Mixed Experience at Tudor Heights Assisted Living Facility"

Tudor Heights Assisted Living Facility is really pretty. They took really good care of my 87-year-old dad there. But I moved him somewhere else for two reasons. First, they don't have a "doctor day," so you have to take your loved one to the doctor, which was hard for me. Second, they take great care of residents with dementia, but they put them in a locked area, even if they don't wander. My dad felt really lonely there. But the food was great, and they had a lot of aides for the residents. The place had a welcoming religious vibe. I guess Tudor Heights works for some people, but not for everyone.
