The care, dedication, kindness, and professionalism from both management and staff are amazing. My family and I are very grateful for their hard work, patience, friendliness, and the great attention they give to my mom. It’s truly exceptional.

"Potomac Grace Fails ALS Patient and Family in Neglected Care"
When I first saw this assisted living facility, I was impressed. The rooms were king-sized, it was spotless, and everyone seemed nice. However, I was worried about whether they could really look after someone with a heavy-duty illness like ALS. Sadly, my worries came true. The boss didn't even look at my mom's condition but said she could manage. However, after only a week and a half, we were told my mom needed to leave. The strange thing is they told us we couldn't leave until the next payment deadline which was almost a month and a half away. Even worse, we never got our deposit back. While we were there, my mom's physical therapy was a mess; there were hardly any activities; they ignored all my questions; they messed up my mom's medicine; and they had problems with our visitors. Plus, the manager was mean to us. I planned to take them to court to get our deposit, but taking care of someone with ALS takes up all your energy. If your loved one is quiet, doesn't have many visitors, doesn't have family nearby, and has an illness that's easy to manage, well then Potomac Grace might be okay for them. But for us, it was a bitter experience, especially given mom's illness. It's heartbreaking when a place makes promises and then lets you down. It's even worse when it affects someone at the end of their life and their family too.
