"Assisted Living Facility Review"
I visited this assisted living place and met with [Removed]. She spent 45 minutes with us, answering all our questions and showing kindness to the residents. She has 28 years of experience in taking care of older adults, especially those with memory issues like dementia. I was impressed by her cheerful attitude and how much she knows about dementia and medicines. They have a pharmacy technician who works with their doctor to make sure residents get the right medications. One resident came here in bad shape, but after they changed her medicine, she started talking and interacting with others again. We saw it happen ourselves. The tour was good, and the bedrooms were spacious enough. The common area wasn’t too big, and there was a ramp in one part of the building. Everything was very clean, with handrails everywhere. The rooms were nicely decorated, and the dining area had lovely flowers. The residents seemed peaceful, and it’s a quiet neighborhood. "Caring Staff but Facility Needs Updates"
My mom stayed at Shanti Home for Respite care. It was very clean. However, the building could use some updates—it's a bit old-fashioned. The staff and owner were really nice and worked hard to provide good care. I was disappointed that my mom couldn't take showers because of issues with hot water or the shower itself. She had to settle for sponge baths. Considering these things, I'd rate it 3 out of 5 stars.
