"Care Concerns Addressed Facility Shows Improvement"
This facility is really nice and pretty. We had to hire someone to be with my loved one all the time because sometimes the caregivers don't respond well. When my loved one pressed the button for help, sometimes nobody came. I talked to them about it and I think they are doing better now.

"Assisted Living Review"
We picked Springwell because the rooms were nice, and you could go outside. The staff-to-resident ratio was good. But sometimes, they didn't explain things clearly, and what they said didn't always match reality. Overall, I'd recommend it with some clarifications. If your loved one needs assisted living, it's a better experience. However, there were some gaps in memory care.

"Serious Decline in Cleanliness and Service at Assisted Living Facility"
I'm not sure what changed, but the cleanliness standard at this assisted living facility isn't up to par anymore. My father's apartment is constantly dusty and dirty. It seems like all they do is superficially clean the bathroom and give the carpet a quick vacuum. Upon moving my dad in here, anyone would have commented on how beautiful and immaculate the place was. His apartment was always tidy and had a pleasant aroma--thanks to regular cleanings and supervisory checks. However, within the last year or so, standards have dropped significantly. The public bathrooms aren't maintained well anymore--they're not cleaned or checked on a consistent basis. The once-spotless front lobby, which used to be a standout feature, is now disheveled. To top it all off, the staff isn't as welcoming or friendly as they were before. What's worse, sometimes my father’s apartment is only cleaned once a month--and there have been periods where it wasn't cleaned at all for an entire month.

"Highs and Lows in Senior Living"
The place was really nice and tidy. The food was yummy. But there were lots of new people in the memory care area, and it seemed like there wasn't anyone really in charge there. If you didn't need memory care, though, it would be a great place to live.

"Pleasant and Clean Assisted Living; Memory Care Needs Improvement"
The place was nice and neat. The food tasted great. But the memory care unit had lots of staff changes. It seemed like there wasn't strong leadership. If you didn't need memory care, it would be a great place to stay.

"Comfortable Assisted Living with Safe Environment and Engaging Activities"
The place looks really nice with lots of sunlight and it's kept clean. They have a cool common area where everyone hangs out, though it feels a bit formal sometimes, like they follow rules too much and forget about just being friendly. There are a bunch of fun things to do that people here enjoy. And the neighborhood is safe and secure.

"Great place, welcoming to pets, convenient location in Baltimore."
This place has everything I need, especially since it's in Baltimore like they said in their pamphlet. Plus, they let you bring your dog without any extra fees upfront.

"Limited handicapped parking, cramped rooms, stair inconvenience at facility."
The parking for people with disabilities at the residence is extremely limited, and you have to climb lots of stairs. Also, the rooms are really small.
