"Lack of sufficient personal care at assisted living facility"
Our experience at this assisted living facility was a letdown. The staff seems to cater to residents who can fend for themselves almost entirely. Limits to their support were evident when my mom was unable to eat properly. Despite having her meals provided, the necessary assistance for her to eat comfortably was missing. Over time, she grew hungry and weak from dehydration because of this. Family members ended up stepping in to feed her because the facility staff claimed to be too busy. We had several chats about our concerns and needs, but it was evident that their routines and protocols wouldn't bend to accommodate us. It seemed like their primary concern was more about securing our payments than anything else.

We picked this place after checking out six others. My family member can't do much, so it's tough finding stuff she likes here. They offer bingo, painting, and more.
