"Friendly Staff, Comfy Residents, Helpful Sales Team"
The place was clean, and the people working there were nice. The folks living there looked happy and at ease. We dropped by to check if my dad would like it here. From what we’ve seen, it looks like a good spot for him. The person selling us the idea was really friendly and gave us a hand.

"Sunrise Provides Comfort and Care"
My family member has lived at Sunrise for about 2 years. She settled in quickly and enjoys her new home. The staff takes good care of her, helping with bathing, dressing, and meals. It's like she's dining out in a restaurant. They also provide medical attention promptly. Overall, we feel at peace knowing she's content.

"Surprisingly Pleasant Experience at Sunrise Assisted Living"
Sunrise has been a great surprise for my family and me. We've had experience with other nursing homes before, but none were good. No place is perfect, and not everyone cares deeply for older adults. However, our time at Sunrise has relieved some of my worries about how my mom is doing every day. The current and past staff have gone beyond what I expected. Without the care my mom receives, I'm not sure how we would manage today. The staff knows we greatly respect how they care for my mom. I highly recommend this facility. As I said, nowhere is perfect, but I feel at ease knowing my mom is safe and well cared for here.

"Assisted Living Facility Review"
The folks at Sunrise of Pikesville treat Dad well. Everyone's served, but not everyone's satisfied. There's a daily menu for meals, plus monthly family brunches. Moving in was smooth with carts and elevators available. The place looks a bit old-fashioned but it's tidy. They keep us updated through emails and calls. It's a good choice for anyone needing care.

"Good care, but staff turnover issues"
I would definitely recommend SR to others. I have one big concern that I know is a common problem in adult care places. There is a lot of staff turnover and vacancies at SR. Sometimes, staff members seem rushed. Our family recently found my mom's prescription meds in her nightstand, showing that staff didn't watch her take her blood pressure medicine. We got a call from the Executive Director and Head of Nursing after emailing them about our concern. They said they would educate the staff more. A Place for Mom" helped us find good places for people with dementia, and we went on several visits. They were a great resource. Our contact there was very caring and responsive. We also wanted a friendly environment, good security inside and outside, nice rooms, and good food. Budget was also important.

"Mixed Experience: Careful Staffing, Excellent Care"
The administrative support needs improvement. Billing issues and unreturned phone calls related to my mother’s care have been frustrating. However, I’m pleased with the cleanliness and meal services. Staffing challenges affect responsiveness. The memory care coordinator is good but lacks adequate backup. A meeting with the executive director helped address problems. Overall, care is excellent.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living"
We wanted to like this place, but it was tough to move our family member to a different part of the community. We were in a hurry and had to make a fast decision. Plus, we had a tight budget.
