"Unpleasant Staff and Meals at Sunrise Assisted Living"

Sunrise assisted living home disappoints me all the time. The workers aren't pleasant at all. Clearly, they don't seem to care a lot. The meals they offer aren't impressive. Also, they don't serve enough choices for those who eat meat or veggies. It's not a good place for pets either! I would advise against Sunrise as a good assisted living place.

"Great Staff and Good Food, but Big Lunch Portions at Sunrise"

My family has had a good experience at Sunrise of Rockville. The staff is really attentive and positive with the residents. They're always super friendly and answer any questions or concerns without delay. The food is tasty, but in my opinion, they serve a bit too much. They eat at 9, 12, and 5, which makes them full for the next meal time (This is how it seems with my husband). I would suggest they serve a light lunch, like a sandwich, and then have a bigger meal at dinner.

"Nice Staff, Good Activities but Trouble Receiving Family Newsletter"

The workers at this place are really nice and they do a good job keeping the elderly folks involved in stuff. The older person I know there likes doing things and they like the meals too. But, I'm having trouble getting the newsletter for families that they're supposed to send out. I hope they start sending it to me soon.

"Unfortunate Choice Despite Friendly Staff And Nice Apartment"

I would advise against choosing this place. I was drawn to this community because of their warm and friendly staff, its inviting atmosphere, and the thought of a wonderful apartment that was on offer.

"Good care but unclear costs at this assisted living home."

I'm confident my mom is receiving excellent care here. But, I regret not asking about the expenses in the beginning. We chose this place due to its convenient location, positive reviews, and apparent ability to care for her throughout.

"Solid Care at Sunrise of Rockville - More Flavor Needed"

The people at Sunrise of Rockville are nice, helpful, and really care about their residents. Moving in was easy, and they're good about talking with families. There was a small problem with my family member's medicines when they first moved in, but they fixed it. I think it's important for families to check on things to make sure everything is going well. The meals are okay, always including soup, a main course, and a dessert. The food could use more flavor and maybe a bit more skill in cooking. But the desserts are tasty. It would be nice to see more fresh fruit offered. Still, I'd tell other people about Sunrise of Rockville.

"Top-notch Care and Activities at Assisted Living Facility"

This place is really good with kind and considerate staff. All people under my care and their families love this place. They have many fun events for the folks living here and the food is great. There are also specialist doctors in the building, like a physical therapist and a psychiatrist.

"Sunrise Rockville: Welcoming Place with Caring and Dedicated Staff"

My wife stayed at Sunrise Rockville for seven months. Here's what I think about it. The building looks good and is kept neat. It's a nice spot to go to. The people there though, they are the best part. My wife is in the part for folks with memory issues. The people working there have it tough - their jobs can be tricky. From what I've seen, they're all real caring, patient, and kind when need be. But they can step up and take charge if it comes to it. Honestly, each worker there has wowed me. My wife likes a few of them a lot, the ones she's around a lot. They've always made her feel like they really do care a lot about her.

My mom is really enjoying living at Sunrise of Rockville. She finds it quite cozy and likes all the staff, particularly those who manage the activities. In the two and a half months she's lived there, we haven't had any problems. Also, she's made some pretty cool friends - something that wouldn't have happened if she had opted for in-home care.

"Down-to-Earth Facility Delivers Exceptional Personalized Service"

Even though the staff is truly excellent at this assisted living facility, it's not the most extravagant place. But its smaller size means everybody is known personally and their particular needs are met. It may not be the ritziest, but it delivers essential services well to all residents.

My family members are healthier now that they live there. They love it there, too. They're cheerful and active within the community. Their bodies and minds are both better off. In fact, I've suggested this place to several other people.

"Outstanding Care and Compassion at Sunrise Rockville Assisted Living"

Sunrise Rockville is where my dad spent his last days, diagnosed with late-stage dementia. I picked it after seeing all the great reviews on multiple sites about care for seniors. It truly lived up to these rave reviews and its own high standards. Since my dad moved in, the nurses and carers have been really kind and helpful to him, me, and my mom, every day of the two months he lived there before he died. I'm especially grateful to the team members who gave emotional support that really helped during this super hard time. Everyone who works at Sunrise Rockville is super caring, patient, and kind to all the people living there. It truly felt like home. You can trust that this place will take good care of your loved ones.

"Sunrise Tour: Nice But Overly Priced for Unused Extras"

Our visit to Sunrise Assisted Living was okay. The place is really nice, but it costs more. They offer a bunch of extras but, honestly, our family member wouldn't use most of them. So, we'd essentially be paying for things we don't need.

We visited this assisted living place in person and it was very tidy, without any bad odors. Every staff member at the facility was friendly. The lady in charge was particularly outstanding. There was a vacant spot for our family member, but sadly, the place was too far from us.

"Sunrise of Rockville Provides Exceptional Care for Mother Post-Stroke"

My mom had a tough time, dealing with a stroke, the death of her husband, and losing her home all in a short time. It was really hard for her and all of us. We needed a place where she could continue being independent yet get some help when necessary. I'm so glad we found Sunrise of Rockville. Their kind leasing agent was especially understanding of our situation. She made sure mom was properly introduced to the head nurse and ensured that she got the right care for her stroke condition. Two months have passed, and we are still so grateful for how well they are looking after mom. They also go out of their way to assist family members, like me, who live far away. I definitely recommend this facility. They were there for us when we needed help the most.

"Excellent Care for My Wife at Sunrise of Rockville"

My wife, who suffers from Alzheimer's, has lived at Sunrise of Rockville for nearly 9 years, first in the assisted living section and later in memory care. I'm very pleased with the way they've taken care of her. She was quite fond of all the staff and caregivers, as well as the activities when she was able to participate. They were a massive help during her challenging times. This place was definitely the right fit for her, meeting her changing needs during the various stages of her disease.

"Beautiful Facility but Overcooked Meals and Average Sized Rooms"

The Sunrise of Rockville care home has bingo games for its residents and arranges outings in the nearby neighborhood. Our family member living there has mentioned that occasionally, food like veggies and meat becomes overcooked and tough to chew. The exterior view of the facility is quite beautiful and so is the interior design. The rooms in the facility are of a normal size. Something that particularly caught our attention was how kind and friendly the staff members were.

"Cozy Atmosphere, Room for Improvement, Engaged Staff, Flexible Meals."

I enjoyed the cozy feel. Some residents were idle before lunch. The biggest room seemed cramped for two wheelchairs. Bathroom was okay. Staff interacted with residents. Flexible meal times were great.

"Rising Costs at Assisted Living Facility An Impossible Burden"

My mom lived there for some years, but each time we had a family meeting, they would just add up more and more costs for care. What started off as almost manageable soon became completely unreasonable and impossible to keep up with. Don't forget, this is just a business.

"They Go the Extra Mile"

My mom is adjusting, and it's still a change for her. My sister and I really like the place and the staff. The food makes her happy! They serve generously, and if you crave something not on the menu, they'll try to prepare it. They're very helpful.

"Consider if other options don't work, smaller but attentive staff."

Review: The facility was pretty nice, but it's smaller and pricier than what I need. I might think about it again if my other picks don't pan out. The staff was good at paying attention, and the place itself is really nice!

"Great place for seniors! Friendly staff, clean environment, varied activities."

This place is really nice for seniors! The person who talked to us about how much everything costs was very honest. The people who work here are super nice and they take really good care of my mother-in-law. They have lots of different things to do and places to go. The whole place is kept really clean. The food is okay, and they have a bunch of different options to choose from.

Sunrise of Rockville is really good! The place looks nice and is always clean, and the people who work there are super friendly! They have lots of things for the residents to do, and they help with both living and memory problems. But, if your family member needs extra help because of dementia and their medicine changes, you might have to pay for it yourself.
