"Well-Maintained and Recommendable Community"
The community is a good size; it’s not too big and is always clean and well-organized. It looks nice, and we have recommended it to others. The activities are still a bit limited due to some restrictions.

"Great Option, Just Too Far Away"
This place was almost my top pick. The only downside is it's too far from where I live.

"Assisted Living Facility Rejects Patient Without Warning - Shocking Experience"
"My husband stayed at Symphony Manor briefly. He has Alzheimer's. One weekend, he became more agitated than usual. Symphony Manor called an ambulance and sent him to the hospital for behavior stability. After his hospital stay, when he was calm, we had a review with the hospital. To my surprise, Symphony Manor, who was there, said he couldn't come back. I was shocked. There was no warning at all. I had to start the process of finding a new home for him all over again. This setback isn't just bad for the patient, it's also hard for family members. I felt incredibly helpless. We had no one to turn to for help. Now I understand what it feels like to be homeless. In other words, your loved one better be totally compliant or they'll be kicked out.

"Neglect Continues at Symphony Manor Despite Concerns and Complaints"
My mom's been living in Symphony Manor for two and a half years. I became really worried when I saw she wasn't getting the care she needed. I spent 8 months trying to get the Executive Director - whose name I've taken out - to do a better job. She didn't seem to care about fixing things, so I tried talking to the parent company, Milestone. They didn't do anything either. When you visit the place, everything looks fine. But once you're there for a while, you notice the problems. They're always short on staff on the weekends, and people have to wait hours for simple care. The people who work nights barely looked in on my mom. They were supposed to every 2 hours, but they would just forget her for the whole night. It's just awful that the Director lets all these problems keep going. All the residents could get hurt or sick because of it. Don't fall for the 5-star reviews. They seem to show up whenever I complain to Milestone.

"Symphony Manor Falls Short on Care Quality"
My mother-in-law has been at Symphony Manor in Baltimore, MD for three years in their memory care facility. When she first arrived, it was great. They had fun activities for the residents and even took them off-campus to plays and country drives. But then, things changed. The new manager cut programs and staff, causing problems. The floor staff is nice but overworked. They can't give the care residents need. Management blamed residents and demanded more money instead of fixing issues. If you care about your loved one, don't send them here.

"Symphony Manor Falls Short on Promises"
My relative stayed at Symphony Manor. At first, everything seemed fine, but after a while, we noticed lots of staff changes, inconsistent care, and poor management awareness. Symphony Manor talks the talk, but doesn't walk the walk. I wouldn't suggest sending a loved one there unless there's no other choice.

"Caring staff, great activities, and lovely memory unit"
The staff here was so caring and truly loved my mother. They made sure she could get out and about, even when we couldn't. They take her on lots of outings and make sure she can still go on long walks in the neighborhood. The memory unit is lovely, and they run a great activities program! The staff is attentive and always willing to help! We are so happy we chose Symphony Manor; we would do it again!
