"Nice small groups, mixed staff, fair food, cleanliness concerns."
Nice small group concept, mixed staff, fair food, cleanliness concerns.

"Friendly, attentive staff, organized communication; good care, negotiable pricing concerns."
The Cottages seem like a good deal. The staff is super nice and really pays attention. They stay organized and keep us updated with messages. You always know who to call and can reach someone when needed. When we visit, we're pleased. Our family member's bed is made, she looks well cared for. We worry about the cost of memory care, but we like that they let us talk about the price.

"Experiences of Negligential Care at The Cottages of Perryhall"
My mom, who has dementia, stayed at the Cottages of Perryhall for a couple months. Her bed was always wet with pee and the bedding I took off a week ago was still dirty in the laundry basket. Her room smelled like pee, there was a dirty ring around her toilet, and the floors were sticky. Even when I told the workers, nothing was done until I cleaned it myself. They were too busy giving bananas to deer outside. I did email the Director about it and things got a bit better. However, after a medical emergency sent my mom to the hospital, she was infected with Covid 19 in the ER. Even though I was told nobody else at The Cottages. I think that's a lie. They wouldn't let her back unless we hired a guard to sit outside her room to keep her in her room. After her quarantine ended, she was again dirty. I was fed up and moved her out. That's when I found out she also had a urinary tract infection.

"Poor Experience at The Cottages of Perry Hall"
Our time at The Cottages of Perry Hall was pretty bad. Only a few workers there were really good. We decided to move our family member from this place.

"Assisted Living Facility Review"
This place didn't feel safe. It's on a dead-end road, backed by woods. If someone left, they might get lost. They had cottages for memory care, each with a few residents, and a big gathering area. Food came from the main building to the cottages, and I worried my loved one might wander out. We weren't impressed, and it didn't smell good.

"Assisted Living Facility Review: Pros and Cons"
We visited The Cottages and noticed they're like small groups, not a regular building. If my family member ended up in a group with unfriendly people, it would feel awful. Everyone lives together in a big building, so it's easier to make friends.

"Locked Down Assisted Living: Communication Woes"
The lockdown feels endless. When I call to check on my mom, no one picks up the phone, and the system won't let me leave a message. It's unsettling not knowing what's happening inside.

"Caring but Overwhelmed"
I think it's a decent place, but they don't have enough staff. They care about the residents, but sometimes they struggle because there are too many people to look after.

"New Activities Person Brings Hope to The Cottages Community"
The Cottages community is super clean, and the staff are really nice. The meals look pretty good, but activities could improve. Excited for the new activities person!

"Mixed Feelings About The Cottages"
Our family took a virtual tour of The Cottages, and it was okay, but not quite what we wanted. The cottages were small, and we felt our loved one needed a larger, more engaging environment.
