"Assisted Living: Varied Activities Needed, Excellent Staff, Good Fit Overall"
They need more activities for men and outings. Staff is friendly and attentive. It's been a good fit for my elderly brother.

"Positive feedback on assisted living: Pleasant environment, friendly staff, adequate care."
Overall, this place looks nice and smells great! The staff is super friendly and always ready to help out. The care provided seems good so far. I do wish they offered more snacks though. They keep the residents busy with lots of activities, which is nice to see. It does cost a lot, but everything is expensive these days.

"Understaffed Facility with Helpful Staff"
I think they don't have enough workers and shouldn't accept more people. She is great at her job! She explained everything well. The cost was okay for us.

"Fantastic staff and activities make this place great!"
The saleswoman who gave us the tour was amazing. The staff are really great, too. They are clear about the costs and what to expect. They truly care about the residents and their families. My loved one always has activities to do, which keeps her busy. We really appreciate that.

"Mixed Experience with Assisted Living Staff"
The staff members were super helpful when moving our loved one in and getting her settled. They really went above and beyond to make her feel comfortable and accepted. However, like any community, there are staffing challenges, and sometimes things slip through the cracks. It can be tough to reach someone during the day and impossible on weekends.

"Tranquil, Clean Assisted Living with Personalized Options"
Our visit to Tranquility went smoothly. The place is calm, tidy, and clean. While I liked it, we found another facility better suited for my mom. .

"“Tranquility: Clean, Affordable, but Needs Better Communication”"
We picked Tranquility because it’s a good deal, the place is tidy, and they offer various room options. The memory care rooms are a bit small, but they do have shared and private rooms. The facility stays clean. Our only suggestion is better communication with families. Overall, I’d recommend checking it out.

"Assisted living offers skilled care, friendly environment, minimal confusion on needs."
This place is great for family who can care for themselves. Staff are skilled but can get confused with more needs. Overall helpful, friendly; excellent care, no issues.

"Welcoming Staff, Spacious Rooms, Ample Parking."
The people there were nice. Rooms were big enough. There were plenty of places for everyone to hang out together. There's also plenty of parking for when people come to visit. This place is my second favorite option for now.

"Clean and friendly community, no feeding tubes allowed."
When I went to visit, everything seemed really clean and tidy. The folks I talked to were friendly and they were honest about something important they don't take in residents who need feeding tubes.

"Decent Spot, Helpful Staff, Uncertain About Food"
This place is pretty good and the workers are doing their best to help. They have activities for my folks, but they haven't joined in yet. I think the food's tasty, but I'm not sure what my parents think.

"Tranquility Made a Difficult Move Much Easier!"
I had to move both of my parents from Pennsylvania to Maryland at the same time. They both had dementia, with my mother’s being more serious. On her first day at Tranquility, my mother didn’t adjust well and couldn’t stay there. But the staff helped me find another place that met her needs right away. After three weeks, she was able to come back to Tranquility and now she loves her new home. During those three weeks, the Tranquility staff made sure my father felt comfortable and kept him busy so he wouldn’t miss my mother too much. Now, they are both really happy there. They enjoy the staff and love the meals. My mother has thrived in the great environment and excellent care. The staff are very patient and kind, and I feel so relieved knowing they are safe and well taken care of every day.

"Doing a nice job overall!"
At Tranquillity at Fredericktowne, they're doing a good job. Some things could be better, like their promise to serve green salads or fresh fruit at every meal. I picked this place because of that, but it doesn't always happen. I hope they improve on this. The management staff are very helpful and friendly. Overall, it's been a really positive experience.

"Sweet and hardworking staff, average food, could improve cleanliness"
My parents have been staying at Tranquility for a few weeks now. I haven't visited them, but my sister helped them move in. What I've been hearing is that the staff there are really nice. They're very kind and work hard to make sure my parents feel welcomed and comfy. That's the most important thing. My parents enjoy the hot breakfast, but overall, the food is just okay and sort of like what you'd find in a cafeteria. My sister mentioned that my mom's room had a smell, and she wished they would take care of it, but overall, the personal attention from the caregivers is better than average.

"Tranquility: Unnecessary Drugs, Uncooperative Staff, and Missing Records"
Tranquility uses unnecessary drugs to subdue their elderly residents, making their job easier and cutting their staff costs. If you try to ask about your loved one's situation, don't expect any help from the top. I had to get assistance from the ombudsman and the Maryland government because they weren't giving me my mom's records. I had to consistently ask for them and I still don't have all of them. Don't send a loved one to a place that wants to medicate your parent without a medical reason.

"Nice Facility, Lacking in Authorized Memory Care and Peer Interaction"
The place looks good, but their memory care section isn't officially recognized by the state yet. They weren't too helpful in providing solid details about how the memory care section operates, like what the staff does or what activities are offered. Plus, the people living in the memory care section now are really old. There's no one there that my dad would get along with.

"Layout Not Suitable, Rooms Small: Decent Facility but Limited Options"
The place is pretty good overall, but the rooms are kinda tiny. The way they've arranged things won't suit us. If they offer a different shared room setup, we might think about it again.

"Top-notch care but layout might confuse seniors; overall favorite."
The owner and her team really care and work hard. The building has many floors, which might be confusing for older people. But it's nice and sunny inside. This place is a favorite among residents.
