I love Schooner! The place is clean, staff helpful. Front desk gals are great! Nurses and housekeeper are amazing! Food is excellent. They need better emergency transport and support for residents at hospitals.

"Great community with attentive staff and tasty meals."
Schooner Estates is the best place around, especially if you want to be close to your loved one. It's the top community we've seen. The staff works hard to meet residents' needs. Communication with staff is okay, but sometimes it's tough due to low staffing, and the administrative staff isn't around in the evenings. They serve three meals a day in the dining room, and my loved one enjoys the food. Snacks are also available for residents.

"Staff Struggles at Schooner Estates"
We left Schooner Estates Senior Living. The staff struggled with her care, and there were problems with her medicine initially. Although it's a nice place, it wasn't the right fit for her—she longed for her own home.

"Convenient Assisted Living with Transport, Laundry, and Distance Considerations"
This place helps with getting to dialysis appointments and does personal laundry. It seems nice overall, but it's about 35 minutes from Portland and 45 minutes from Waterville. There's a good hospital in Auburn called Central Maine Med for emergencies.
