"Clinical Atmosphere in Memory Care"
The memory care area felt like a locked ward, with a clinical vibe and less natural light due to no central courtyard. We ultimately picked another community.

"Not Enough Caregivers in Assisted Living"
The staff is caring, but more caregivers are needed in the assisted wing. We chose this community because it's close to my brother and me, and it has a good reputation.

"Attentive Staff, Good Value, Convenient Location at Assisted Living Facility"
The staff here pays good attention to us, and the cost is fair. The location is easy for us to get to.

"A Welcoming Atmosphere Makes Sentry Hill a Top Choice"
Our family found Sentry Hill's atmosphere very welcoming compared to other places we considered. We would recommend this community to others, and already have!

"Close-Knit Community"
This place was really nice and neat. The workers were super nice and knew a lot. The people living there were also really nice and looked really happy. We would've picked this place if it was closer to our family.

"Liked Location, Affordable Unit; Advertising Isn't Honest"
Visited back in 2012. Really liked that it's based in the city and close to the water. Their move from Assisted Living to Medicaid was handled really well. Sadly, only one unit seems affordable for me. Their advertising isn't completely honest.

"Attentive Care in a Serene Setting"
This place really cares about each person, they’re genuinely helpful. The building is great, so peaceful.

"Costly Facility with Confusing System and Misleading Services"
My mom moved into this place about a month ago, so it might be early to judge. But here's what I think so far. Their system is confusing to me. We chose this place because her doctor recommended it. It's really costly and the price keeps increasing. They even ask for extra money to guide my mom around. Their idea of 'assisted living' doesn't match what we had in mind.

"Uncertain Early Impressions from Expensive Assisted Living Facility"
My grandma hasn't been at this place for long, just around a month - maybe it's too soon to really judge. But right now, I'm kinda confused about how they run things. Her doctor told us to bring her here. It's pretty pricey and keeps getting more expensive. They're asking for extra money just to help her get familiar with the place. Their version of 'assisted living' isn't matching up with what we were led to believe.

"Mixed Feelings on Sentry Hill Assisted Living Facility"
Dick was impressed by Mary Ellen Dunham at Sentry Hill. However, I felt she gave the tour reluctantly, possibly covering for a colleague. The tour lasted about 40 to 45 minutes. When I asked about the cost of day care in the memory unit or the prices of different apartments, she avoided giving a direct answer, saying she would discuss it later. We saw the memory unit and the garden, and got a general tour of the facility, but we didn't meet any other staff or residents. Mary Ellen was polite but seemed overly formal for my taste. Sentry Hill itself is impressive, but we weren't invited to lunch despite our 11:00am appointment. We didn't look at any cottages because I thought they were too expensive for us.

"Mixed Feelings about Sentry Hill Assisted Living Facility"
Dick thought Mary Ellen Dunham was impressive at Sentry Hill. However, I felt she was only giving the tour because her coworker couldn't make it, which didn't seem to make her too happy. The tour lasted about 40 to 45 minutes. Mary Ellen avoided answering my questions about the cost of day care in the memory unit or the price of the different apartments, saying she would talk about that later. We saw the memory unit, the garden, and got a general tour of the facility, but we didn't meet any other staff or residents. Mary Ellen was nice, but she seemed too professional for me. Sentry Hill is a nice place, but we weren't asked to stay for lunch, even though our appointment was at 11:00 am. We didn't look at any cottages because I thought they were too expensive for us.

"Comfortable Assisted Living, Ensure Long-Term Stability"
This place is pretty nice. The one-bedroom apartment is okay. I wish we could get a bigger one with a nice view. I'm worried about how life changes might mean we have to switch apartments. I want to make sure he can stay in the same place until he needs memory care.
