My father was put here while already transitioning to hospice care. The owner requested that I not tell A Place for Mom about our arrangement to avoid paying fees. She happens to own more such facilities. In my father's final week, I discovered he was incorrectly given morphine by staff. Hospice had to intervene to sort out the issue. The following day, the same staff member repeated the mistake - my dad was disoriented and not himself. My father died early in the month, and I asked for a refund. The owner assured me she would return my money but then she completely ignored me and never refunded me. I advise others not to choose this place.
