"High Staff Turnover at Assisted Living Facility"
The assisted living place is getting all new leaders. Recently, the top boss, the nursing leader, and the person in charge of marketing all quit. Raising the cost by $[removed] each month doesn’t make up for things getting worse. Like many places, they don’t have enough workers. I hope it gets better. There are some really good helpers here, but I’m worried they might leave too. I wouldn’t want to work here. A lot of people leaving says a lot.

"Nice place but too expensive"
Our family visited Aspen Grove over the weekend. We liked the tour and thought the place was really nice. But it was just too expensive for us, so we didn't choose it.

"Neglectful Assisted Living Doesn’t Follow Through, Overcharges"
This place is terrible. They promise you everything you want to hear just to get you inside but don't keep their promises. My mom received too much of her blood pressure medication and no one checked her blood pressure afterwards. They drop pills on the floor and still give them to residents. They won't refund my dad's money and continue to bill him every month even though they don't live there anymore. It's a total mess.

"Poor Staffing and Covid-19 Handling in Assisted Living Facility"
This place's response to the covid pandemic was poor. Even when my loved one didn't have covid and I asked for them to keep her separate and give her meals in her room, they declined. They claimed it wasn't a facility that could give personalized attention, and they wouldn't cater to my request because they didn't see it as a medical necessity. I'd heard they'd done it for others, though, to keep them safe. They also suggested I could bring in an outsider to feed her, which could increase the risk of causing a covid outbreak. The other day they put a fentanyl patch on my loved one that wasn't supposed to be on her because a staff member didn't follow the doctor's instructions and forgot to update the computer record. They continuously mess stuff up like this. Additionally, they're understaffed. There are only two aides taking care of about 28 people. This place is a memory care facility, and when two people help one person with a hoyer lift or take breaks, there's no one available to look after all the others who need careful attention. They claim this is legal, but I question its ethics. So my advice is, avoid this place!

"Assisted Living Needs More Nurses for Resident Care"
They need to have a nurse here, not just med techs. Most residents need more help, and they were short-staffed during our stay.
