"Facility Lacks Compassion and Quality, Prioritizes Profit Over Care"
She wants people who just sit in their tiny, shared rooms or are gone a lot. The food isn't good or healthy. There's no activities, no social spot, and no friendliness. She expects you to take the person you care for home on weekends - "to give HER a break!" We need to buy and bring our own healthy food, like carrots, juice, and all fruits and veggies - anything fresh, it's outrageous! Don't go, she's just another assisted living center out to make money. Sadly, sometimes you just need to find a spot that's open and settle for what you can get. Now she has another job and her mom is supposed to run the place? We were so eager to get the person we care for out of there. She was also very mean to the social workers, more than one! We've been in several assisted living centers over the years and it's heartbreaking that there aren't more caring and welcoming places for our loved ones to live a meaningful and dignified life.

"Simple, homelike assisted living with attentive care but shared spaces."
This ranch-style home offers four private rooms for seniors. It's not extravagant, but it feels cozy like home. The residents here are quite frail, but the owner takes good care of them. They handle meal preparation and oversee medications. Residents can store their own food in the fridge, but only the owner can access it to prevent mix-ups. However, there's no private or smaller space for residents, only a shared living room."
