"New Owners Disappoints, Forces Move from Blossom Hill"
My mom lived at Blossom Hill for five months. At first, I was thrilled with the choice. However, I wasn't told that the place was about to switch owners when I moved her in. Sadly, a week after the new owner took over, it was clear to me that my 94-year-old mom needed to leave. The new owner seemed to ignore requests and told me flat-out, 'If you don't like it, move.' The staff were changing constantly and there was little training. It is a shame to see such a nice place decline. I eventually moved her into a fantastic group home in West Bloomfield.

"Decline in Care at Assisted Living Post Ownership Change"
My mom stayed at this place. We thought she’d be happy here for the rest of her time. The building looked nice, and we felt sure about it for a whole year. But then it got sold and we were crossing our fingers that the new boss would keep his word. Sadly, he didn’t. The people who used to work there, like the helpers and cooks, were gone. Within a month, it was chaos with no steady care. I felt like I had to be there all the time to look after how my mom was cared for. They started serving canned food like Chefboyardee instead of the fresh food they made before, and the helpers were so busy they couldn’t do their jobs right. When I told the new boss about my worries, he said it wasn’t my business and that I could take my mom somewhere else if I wanted. So, I moved her out, and I’m so glad I did. I wouldn’t tell anyone to send their family here.
