"Assisted Living with Activities and Friendly Staff"
The staff doesn’t always respond quickly to problems, but they eventually do. They offer music, happy hour, games, and a library. I’d recommend it.

"Assisted Living Facility Review"
I really like this place because the staff are super friendly and there's always something fun going on. They have a lot of cool events and entertainment. The building looks nice since they fixed it up, and it's always really clean. My loved one's room is always neat and tidy. The food they serve is really good too!

"Affordable choice, adequate rooms, occasional care concerns, recommended."
We picked Brentwood at Niles for its affordability. Rooms are adequate. Concerned about frequency of changing depends. Overall, recommend the facility.

"Friendly Staff and Clean Facilities with Good Food"
The staff are friendly. The place is clean. I would tell a friend or neighbor about it. The food is better than most places. The rooms are a good size. My mom stayed in both Assisted Living and Memory Care. She could have her dog, which was nice.

"Caring Staff, Simple Space"
The main staff is great, but there are always new faces coming and going. The place isn’t fancy, but the care is good. I haven’t seen any activities, but I visit in the evenings or on weekends. Mom’s private room is a good size for her needs, and everyone seems comfortable.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living Facility"
The main workers are great, but many new folks leave quickly. The place isn't fancy, a bit worn, but the care is good. I haven't seen any activities, but I'm usually there in the evenings or on weekends. My mom's private room is a good size and fits her needs. Everyone there seems comfortable and happy.

"Assisted Living Disappoints After Changes, But Provides Basic Comforts"
My mom stays at Brentwood. At first, I liked it. The staff seemed well-trained, and the place was nice. But things changed. In the last 4 years, it got worse. Two companies bought it, and all the good staff left. The new people aren't as good. The head person is always in her office. The best worker is gone. I hope the activities stay good. They say there are lots of things to do, but it's not true. My mom is safe, the place is clean, she can have her pet, and she gets food.

"Brentwood Needs More Improvement"
My mom or dad lives at the Brentwood place. At first, it seemed great with good services, trained helpers, skilled nurses, and a good boss. But over the last four years, it's all gone bad. After being sold two times, the old, skilled workers are gone and now there's only young people. The first nurses left, the boss lady stays in her office too much, and the really great worker is not there anymore. I just hope the activities don't become boring or for little kids. The advertised benefits are exaggerated. There's no space for any outside fun at Brentwood and some stuff they say is there, isn't. So, yes, my mom or dad is safe, it’s clean, animals are allowed, and they get food.

"Friendly and Clean Assisted Living with Room for More Activities"
Our time at Brentwood at Niles was pretty good! It’s really friendly there, and they work hard to keep everything clean and neat. It’s also quite lively socially. They bring in different kinds of entertainment, and we enjoy happy hour a few times each week. My only suggestion would be to have activities a bit more often.

"Friendly and Clean Assisted Living with Room for More Activities"
Our time at Brentwood at Niles has been great! It's a really nice place, and they make sure everything stays clean and neat. It feels lively there, with lots of things to do and people to meet. They have different activities and even happy hour a few times a week. One thing that could make it even better is if they had activities a little more often.

"Friendly, Clean Assisted Living Worth Exploring"
We visited this place when we were considering care for a family member. The building was clean, and the staff we met were nice and professional. However, the care provided didn’t quite match our loved one’s needs at the time. Overall, it’s a pleasant spot worth checking out!

"Clean and friendly facility, not perfect match for loved one"
We visited this place while checking out options for our family member. The place was really clean and tidy, and everyone we talked to seemed nice and knew what they were doing. But I don't think they could provide exactly what our loved one needed right then. Still, it's a good spot overall and worth checking out!

"Going Well at the Assisted Living Facility"
It's been good so far. They enjoy being there and are getting used to it. The only problem we're facing is with the billing. We talked to them last month and thought we had it sorted out, but the new invoice shows the same issue. Now we're waiting for a response. Apart from that, we really like it.

"Unresolved Safety and Care Concerns at Brentwood Facility"
My stepdad lives at Brentwood and he frequently tells me that someone, possibly staff, enters his room when he’s not there. He can tell his belongings have been shuffled and lights he left on are turned off. When he complained about this, no one seemed to care. It keeps happening and this invasion of his privacy worries me, because I think it's a question of personal safety. Also, sometimes he doesn’t get help to go to the dining room for meals. One time they said they didn’t interrupt him because he was on the phone. But he's a diabetic and uses insulin every day, missing meals can be harmful for him. I don't live nearby in Niles and can't voice his problems to your management. I hope you look into these matters and find solutions. Otherwise, he enjoys the meal services and activities you provide.

""Deeply Disappointed: Failed By Inadequate Memory Care Unit""
You folks really let my mother in law down. She was just another statistic in your mind, not benefiting at all from your so-called memory care unit. You had the nerve to evaluate her twice. You ought to be ashamed.

"Beautiful facilities but lacking in mental care and screening processes."
I thought I liked it, but it's not good if your loved one doesn't understand the rules. They didn't screen well, and the doctor misdiagnosed memory loss as dementia. They wouldn't admit someone with dementia but thought they could handle memory loss, which is part of it. But they couldn't. Some staff were great, but management is too cautious about their license. They weren't much better than him with medication, lost his laundry, and blamed him. They might be okay for people with physical problems, but not for mental ones. The food was good and the apartments were nice. So if you're mostly independent, it's okay.

"Considering Assisted Living Options"
I really enjoyed the facility and Tiffany. I'm not sure if a one-bedroom is spacious enough for my mom, especially since it's on the second floor. My mom and I are discussing it.

"Dad Escapes New Alzheimer's Unit at Assisted Living"
We initially chose this place because their Alzheimer's unit seemed new and safe when we visited. We paid $5,600, but my dad was only there two days. He escaped and ended up in a local hospital. We used to believe this place was secure, but my dad's escape proved us wrong. Now, we're trying to get some of our money back, but they haven't returned our calls in over a month. We're really disappointed and definitely don't recommend this place. We thought it would ease our worries about my father’s care, but it ended up causing more stress.

"Friendly and Clean Memory Care with Spacious Rooms and Activities"
We moved our aunt to Brentwood's memory care unit recently. The staff there is super nice and helpful. The place is really clean and bright. They even have a small outdoor spot where residents can enjoy being outside safely. Food is served in a nice dining room, and staff eat with residents. There's also a small TV area and different activity stations for residents. The rooms are big, with a spacious bathroom. Residents can also get their own TV and phone service at a reasonable price. The nurses' station is right in the middle so they can see down both halls and keep an eye on everything.
