"Consider other options before choosing this assisted living facility."
This place isn't great. We chose it because they have nurses around all the time, but they really need to work on their bosses and how they talk to us. Also, the people who sell you on this place say a lot of things that aren't true.

"Overall positive experience."
I visited this place, and it was okay. They're under new ownership, so there might be changes. My tour went well, cleanliness and friendliness were good.

"Brighton Gardens: Clean and Nice, But Not Quite the Fit"
I visited Brighton Gardens of Northville, and it was a nice and clean place. However, we decided on a different community because it wasn't quite right for our loved one.

At first, good service, but quality declined quickly. Poor meals, care.

"Mixed experience: Great amenities but lacking in memory care quality."
The food and activities are better in assisted living. Memory care residents mainly watch TV. The value for the cost is low. Compared to other places in Detroit, Brighton Gardens looks and smells good, but memory care falls short. Hotdogs and sandwiches with fries aren't satisfactory. The director's response was disappointing. Options are available in the main dining room. Memory care residents struggle to advocate for themselves. Considering transitioning back home.

"Friendly staff, great activities, and attentive medical care"
The staff here are really friendly and communicate well. My dad is really happy living here. They have fun things like movies every afternoon, health and fitness activities, discussion groups, and even some outings. They also offer religious services both on site and off. The best part is that the medical staff stay on top of everything.

"Nice Tour, But Facility Looks Old and Needs Updates"
I had a nice tour at Brighton Gardens, but the place itself needed a lot of updates; it looked pretty outdated.

"Brighton Gardens is caring and accommodating."
Brighton Gardens of Northville feels like home. They were kind and helpful when our loved one tested positive for COVID. They even held our loved one's room for 30 days without extra fees.

"Narrow Hallways Made It Less Inviting for Our Family"
Our family visited this assisted living community in person. Everything seemed fine, but we noticed that the hallways were a bit narrow and felt cramped. It didn't have that really open and inviting atmosphere we were hoping for.

"Mixed Experience with Assisted Living Staff"
Most staff have been great, but some were mean to my mom. I worried when requesting a meds re-evaluation. I think Mom overpaid for a while. Concerned about in-room meal charges.

"Great Memory Care Facility"
We picked Brighton Gardens because they have memory care. They offer both shared and private rooms. The staff who work with my mom are excellent—they’ve done a great job. I’d recommend it to others.

"Nice place for dad, felt right when I visited."
When I walked into the facility and talked to the people, I felt like it could be a nice place for me to live, so it would be great for my father.

"Friendly and Informative Virtual Tour"
Our family took a virtual tour, and it was good. The staff we met did a great job explaining everything and showing us around different rooms to see what they had available.
