"Assisted Living Center Needs Better Staff Communication"
The workers, patients, families, nurse, and therapists didn't talk much. Sometimes not enough staff. My loved one didn't get enough care. It wasn't a good match.

"Disappointing Experience at Misleading Assisted Living Facility"
The place said they had fun things to do, but they didn’t even have a leader for the activities. I wanted my mom to be around more people and have choices to keep her mind busy. It was obvious she needed assisted living, not just memory care. The nurse should’ve seen that when they checked her. But I think they just wanted to fill up the expensive rooms. I feel really let down. I wouldn’t tell anyone to go there.

"Friendly Staff and Clean Facility"
They’re really helpful throughout the process. Right now, it’s mostly men, but they accept both men and women. I’d like more social interaction among residents, but the staff genuinely engages with my loved one’s interests. The facility is clean and pleasant.

"Decent Facility with Good Food and Convenient Layout"
Brookdale Bay City is a pretty cozy spot. The meals tasted nice. The rooms were a decent size and the place was laid out well, making it simple to move around. The folks working there were okay. Picking this place, the location really mattered to us.

"Caring Community with Great Food"
My mom lives at Clairbridge, a memory care community. The managers were super helpful, going out of their way for us. The food is top-notch. I visited three times before my mom moved in.

"Director Wants In-Person Visit"
I talked to the director, but she didn't give me any information. Instead, she wanted me to visit in person.

"Friendly Director, Great Amenities!"
The director was super professional and friendly. They gave me a tour, introduced me to the staff, and explained how the rooms are set up. They even showed me a calendar of events and activities, including memory games and hands-on fun. Plus, they help with bathing and medications. The cost is between $2900 and $3100. Keep in mind, though, they don't accept Medicaid. Also, there are 20 residents for assisted living and another 20 for Alzheimer's/dementia care.
