"New Management Raises Prices, Feels Insulting to Residents"
The staff communicates well and is friendly and helpful. Recently, a new company took over and raised prices by 8.7%, matching the social security increase. This felt insulting and obvious.

"Cozy, friendly, great suite option, inviting activity areas."
Lovely, cozy place! They offered a two-room suite option. Liked the friendly staff and many inviting areas for activities.

"Great care and clean facility, but meals need improvement!"
The caregivers and the care I got were really good! All my needs were taken care of well and on time. The employees seem happy with their jobs. The place was very clean and organized. I think the meals could have been a bit better.

"Brookdale: Clean, Friendly, and Well-Located"
Brookdale is clean and friendly. The staff is really good, patient, and kind. Their monthly cost is higher than similar places, but the location works well for us.

"Way too expensive for us: more than $3000 monthly"
This place charges over $3000 per month, and we just can't afford that.

"Convenient Living, but Location Not Ideal"
My family and I liked the place, but it's too far for us. If that's not an issue for you, it's worth considering.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short on Financial Transparency"
This place is nice for seniors. We liked almost everything, but one thing bothered us. The cost for my mom kept changing before she even moved in. It was hard to figure out what Brookdale charges for each thing. If they were more upfront about the costs, it would be great. Random charges keep appearing on my mom's bill, and we have to keep asking to get rid of them. The original price they gave us suddenly increased by over $800 a month. They said they might remove them later, after she moves in. I'm searching for another place for mom. If Brookdale was clearer about the costs, we'd keep her there for sure

"Charges at Brookdale's flip-flop: Searching for new place."
Brookdale is a pretty good senior care spot. We totally liked it, everything but one thing. The price for my mom's care kept on changing before she even moved in. It's tough to figure out what Brookdale wants to be paid for each service they give. If they were clearer about their costs, it would be an ideal spot. Unexpected charges keep showing up on my mom’s monthly bill and we always have to request that they remove them. Suddenly, the initial fee they told us shot up by more than $800 a month. The front desk mentioned they "might" remove these later—once she settles in. So, now I'm searching for a new place for her. If Brookdale was more honest about their costs, we would for sure have mom stay there.

"Mixed Impressions on Assisted Living Facility"
Our family wanted a bigger place with more chances to socialize. We didn't talk to the director because, just by looking, we could tell it didn't meet some of our expectations.

"Friendly Staff and Great Amenities at This Assisted Living Facility"
The staff are always friendly and patient, even when they're busy. The amenities are great, especially the dining experience with cloth napkins and personal service. The only issue is that sometimes pillowcases aren't cleaned well, but overall, it's a good place. They work well with Gentiva Hospice services.

"Assisted Living Review: Staff Care, Some Room for Improvement"
The staff at this assisted living place are always friendly and helpful, no matter how busy they get. They're patient and gentle when taking care of my loved one. The amenities are great, with fancy dining options like cloth napkins and personal waiters. However, there's been a small issue with laundry, especially with pillowcases used under the patient's legs. The rules here don't allow side rails on the beds, which has been tough for our loved one's safety and comfort. We've had to find other ways to keep him safe. Overall, the staff work well with Gentiva Hospice services.

"Friendly Caregivers, but Pricey with Few Activities"
My loved one stayed here for a short respite. The caregivers are wonderful—very friendly and professional. However, the facility is expensive, and I don't think they offered enough services and amenities for the price. There weren't many activities either.

"Friendly staff, but expensive service"
My family member stayed here briefly, and there are good things and areas for improvement. The caregivers are friendly and professional, but the facility is expensive, and the services and amenities don't match the cost. Also, there aren't many activities.

"Pleasant Staff, Far for Family, Memory Care"
The person in charge was away, and no one knew I was coming. A staff member gave me a tour and answered my questions. They were very nice, and I liked what I saw. However, I think this place is too far for my family to drive. Also, as my grandma's memory worsens, we'll need a place that specializes in memory care.
