"Family Night Was Great, Monthly Events Planned!"
The family night we went to last night was a lot of fun. It was good to hear they are planning to do one every month. My father-in-law's room is just right for what he needs!

"Friendly staff and cozy environment make it feel like home"
I feel like most of the staff really respect and care for the residents, making it feel like home. The facility is a good size for my loved one—it's not too big and overwhelming. The outdoor areas are well-kept and easy to access for enjoying the fresh air. The rooms work well for my mom; they have a small sink, fridge, and cupboards. The bathroom is nice, and the shower is okay, though it could be a bit larger. There’s a bench in the shower already, and they have a bigger shower available if needed.

"Expensive but content."
Sometimes I feel like they forget about my mom. Maybe it's because she's less demanding than other residents, and they're often short-staffed. My mom doesn't join activities, so it's tough for me to judge. They do have several activities, but it's quite pricey. Still, she's content there.

"Mixed Impressions at Brookdale Monroe"
We visited Brookdale Monroe, but it didn't impress us like some other places. The location was too far for family.

"Deteriorating Care and Hidden Costs Mar Assisted Living Experience"
The quality of the staff, administration, and care at this assisted living facility has drastically plummeted over the past half year. Although it appears pleasant on the surface, it's truly not. Your family member will be left sitting in unclean diapers, or unattended before meals. It's likely you'll be forced to engage the services of a hospice or alternative care provider to ensure their needs are met. Initially, you may be quoted approximately $5,000 per month, but this swiftly escalates to around $12,000. Don't be deceived by the facade this place presents. My mother was a resident here for four years, of which the last six months were absolutely dreadful. I wouldn't recommend this facility to anyone!

"Heading: Growing Bills and Declining Service at Brookdale's Monroe Facility"
My mom was at Brookdale's memory care in Monroe for about 4 years. We had to move her as the quality of service was going down and the bills were going up. She kept having urinary tract infections and even broke her arm in a fall. The new head honcho and nurse always dodge blame and won't fix any problems. The staff, not paid enough, don't make an extra effort to take care of patients. They keep hiking up the charges based on a resident's health, saying it's to get more staff. But our bills went from close to $5,000 to more than $11,000 a month, and I don't think they brought in more staff. We even asked for staff details, which they didn't give. If you're thinking about this place, look up their lawsuits in both Florida and California. We finally had enough and moved my mom to a better place.

"Dreadful management and understaffing mar this pricey assisted living facility"
This facility is not worth it. The meals are awful considering the high costs. It's constantly lacking enough staff members. The few girls working there are overworked and barely paid enough. The management is truly dreadful. To sum it up, it's just a total waste of hard-earned money! I strongly advise you to steer clear from this establishment.

"Appealing Yet Highly Overpriced Assisted Living Facility"
At first glance, it seems appealing but it's incredibly overpriced compared to what it offers.

"A Community Worth Considering"
This place is nice if you don't need much help. The staff take good care of people living here. We got worried when they brought in Visiting Angels all day without asking us. But overall, it was great for my family member. They made friends and got good therapy. The food was okay. I'd suggest it for people who can manage on their own.

"Fantastic Caregivers!"
My friend stayed briefly at this place, and I wished he could've stayed longer. The staff were awesome and really looked after him well. He needed more care than they could offer, but I'd totally suggest this spot to anyone.

"Great for memory care! Staff attentive, food good, activities offered. Recommend!"
This place is really good for helping people with memory problems. The workers here are trained well for that. They pay attention to the people living here and spend time talking and doing things with them. The food they serve is tasty and they also have healthy choices. They plan activities every day and sometimes take trips outside. I think this is a clean and nice place, and I would tell others to consider it.
