"Great value, nice rooms, tasty food, and pleasant outdoor space"
They are good. It's a great value for the money. The community layout is nice, and the rooms are a good size. The food is tasty, and they have a nice outdoor space for residents. We have no complaints; it’s been a positive experience.

"Great Place for Mom, Clean and Tasty Food"
My mom lives here now and she likes it a lot. The place is super clean and the homemade food always smells amazing. I would choose this over a regular nursing home any day.

"A Caring Facility with Personalized Care and Homemade Meals"
My friend lived here for the past year until she passed away. This place was truly a blessing. The food was made from scratch and adjusted to her changing needs. The care was very personal, and she received excellent attention from kind and loving people. Because it’s a smaller facility, she got help quickly and could ask for what she needed right away. She loved spending time outside when she was able. Whenever she had a medical issue, the caregivers got doctors involved right away. The visiting doctor even said this place is one of the best he sees regularly! I visited often, and the only thing I’d change is having the TV on less in the living room. I highly recommend this facility because the staff genuinely cares about their residents.

"Mixed Experience at Candet Assisted Living"
We kinda had a mix of feelings about Candet Assisted Living. When it comes to looking after folks, they do a great job. The owner and the caregiver who lives there really take care of the residents well. It's nice that they try not to give out too many medicines. Also, the food they serve is tasty and good for older folks' diets. But, there's a big problem. The live-in caregiver, though kind and caring, doesn't speak enough English to talk well with the residents. This gets tough when the owner isn't around. And some other residents cause issues too. There's a man who shouts a lot, and another who has serious memory problems. This sometimes makes my loved one feel uneasy.

"Residential Care Home Limits Independence and Space"
My dad chose not to go to a residential care home because he thought it would limit his independence and personal space.

"Assisted Living Facility Review: Space and Safety Concerns"
When we stayed here, there was a sewer leak downstairs, which wasn't their fault. Because of that, the living room was crammed with furniture. There's only one chair in the living room, making it hard for guests to sit. Though you can visit in the resident's room, they're too small for big family visits. We were promised a homey feel, but the dining room is tiny, fitting only 3-4 people. Some residents end up eating alone in their rooms due to space limits. They're planning to move to a bigger, nicer home to address these issues, but it hasn't happened yet. The current location on Beatrice in Livonia, MI, will be upgraded. One resident managed to leave because the door was easily broken due to dry rot. These issues should be fixed in the new location.
