"Fine tour, choice based on availability for loved one."
Our family toured Delta Retirement Center; community and experience were fine.

"Delta: Good Spot, Think Hard Before Choosing"
I’d say Delta’s best thing is where it’s at. It feels like a peaceful neighborhood but it’s still close to lots of stores and fun places. I really wouldn’t want a buddy to go there, but if it comes down to it, you should totally talk to A Place for Mom. They help you check out a bunch of places first. We ended up choosing this spot 'cause the nurse who comes around told us it was good.

"Mixed Feelings on Size at Delta Retirement Center"
We visited Delta Retirement Center and liked it a lot! The only issue was its size, which seemed too big for our loved one. Overall, it's a nice place.

"Mixed Feelings on Assisted Living Post-Fire"
We found out about the fire by seeing it in the news. The place didn’t tell us until way later, like a whole day and more. So, yeah, not too happy about that. But maybe they’re trying their best with what’s going on? Just so you know, the food was okay at first. The kitchen folks were really nice, cutting up my dad’s food so he could eat it easy. They paid a lot of attention. But then, after the fire, they shut down where we eat. Everyone had to have meals in their rooms. And it didn’t open back up because they couldn’t find enough people to work there.

"Great facility, but too costly and no Medicaid waiver"
We had a fantastic tour at Delta Retirement and really enjoyed the facility and the staff. However, it was too pricey for our budget and they don’t accept Medicaid waiver.

"Welcoming community with tasty food."
The first few weeks might be tough, but once your loved one gets involved, they'll feel at home. The community offers plenty of activities, and the food is delicious.

"Assisted Living Facility Not Suitable for Mom"
The visit was cool. But, this place wasn't right for my mom.

"Poor Service, Food, and Accessibility Forces Resident to Leave"
My mom stayed at this facility for a brief time. At first, we were pleased, but when the main cook left, the food quickly went downhill. They didn't take her dietary needs into account and the meal portions significantly shrunk. They said if she skipped meals, they'd drop her rent by $150. Is that seriously the entire meal budget? This seems incredibly low, considering the kitchen workers and waitstaff costs. The transportation provided for shopping trips wasn't handicap-friendly, leaving those who couldn't manage stairs without a shopping option. It wasn't long before the kind employees were gone, replaced by newer staff that was ill-mannered and unthoughtful. Given the cost, we decided she'd be better off moving back home – thankfully, she still had this option!

"Mixed Experience at Maple Grove Assisted Living"
My mom stayed at this place for a while, and everything was okay, but it wasn't very safe. She didn't join in on the activities, but that was because she didn't want to. The food was alright. The staff were nice and helpful, but I'm not sure if my mom was getting all the help she needed.

"Meals at Delta Retirement Vented: Tough Meat Issues Persist"
My folks have been at Delta Retirement Vented for almost two years. They really like the staff there. But, they've got a few gripes about the food. One big issue is the tough meat. They say it's so hard to cut that folks struggle with it. They've mentioned it to the staff, but nothing's changed. It'd be great if Delta understood that folks like them need meat that's tender and well-cooked.

"Clean and friendly place, good backup option for loved ones"
I visited this place when we were checking out places for my family member who needed care. It was clean and tidy, and the people who worked there were nice and seemed like they knew what they were doing. In the end, we picked a different place, but if that hadn't worked out, this would've been our next pick!

"Capable Care with Changing Costs"
This place was pretty good. I didn't see anyone left alone, and folks seemed quite independent. The rooms were clean and nice, though a bit pricey. It wasn't like a nursing home, which was nice. Only downside was the price changed after a month.

"Impressive Tour of Assisted Living Facility"
We toured the center and were really impressed with the facility. If we (my father) decide he should go to a home, this will be the place.

" Beware: This Assisted Living Facility Lacks Warmth & Unity "
The staff at this assisted living facility are distant and not at all friendly. They just don't seem to care. I genuinely wouldn't want to resettle a relative in this so-called "community." In a realistic sense, a community should consist of a group of common individuals who reside in the same vicinity, sharing common attitudes, desires, and targets. Regrettably, this facility fails to deliver those basic community components. When my husband and I visited, we noticed a stark lack of unity and shared interests. It's essential to remember that surface beauty can be deceptive - this is unquestionably true when it comes to this facility. What you see on the exterior doesn't reflect the content or quality of care provided.

"Dad didn't find this place as appealing as others"
Didn't hold up compared to other places we checked out. The rooms were tiny. My father just didn't feel at home there.

"Delta: Excellent Care, Professional Service, and Helpful Staff"
Delta was quick to respond from the first contact. Over several weeks, we checked out other places and kept asking questions. Delta was always professional and eager to help. We eventually picked Delta, and it was the right choice! Ann is fantastic—always friendly, professional, and helpful.
