Genesis Senior Living 3

"Not as nice as others and too pricey"
The facility wasn't as nice as others I've seen and seemed too expensive.

"Needs Improvement: Assisted Living Facility Review"
This place shouldn't accept people needing hospice or wound care. The care is bad, they often mess up meds. Communication issues due to language barrier. They don't report things properly.

"Facility's Lackluster Environment and Unpleasant Smell Criticized"
I wouldn't even want my dog to stay here. The place just reeks of cleaning chemicals and pee. All the people living there were piled in the living room watching TV, except for one who was still in bed. There's nothing for them to do there too.

"Mixed Feelings About Genesis Assisted Living"
I went to the Genesis property on 13 Mile Rd in Warren. The place is nice, but I was disappointed that Ferdinand wasn't there to answer my questions. The staff is friendly, but we're unsure about placing Mom in a male/female setting.

"Mixed feelings about this care home for seniors"
During our visit, I wasn't really impressed with this care home. Many of the residents seemed like they couldn't move around much, and I didn't think it would be a good place for my mom to do well. The place looked clean, though, and the staff were friendly.

"Mixed Experience but Overall Good: Genesis Senior Living Review"
We kinda had ups and downs with Genesis Senior Living, but mostly it's been okay. Moving in was a bit bumpy, lots of papers got mixed up, and we weren't sure when exactly we were supposed to move in. But after all that fuss, once my grandma settled in, things got pretty nice. The place is clean and safe, the staff are nice, and they really look after the folks here.

"Nice place overall, a bit of trouble with the move-in"
We’ve had a mix of experiences at Genesis Senior Living, but overall, it’s been good. The move-in process was a bit rocky due to paperwork mix-ups and confusion about the date. However, now that she’s settled in, things are going well. The facility is clean, safe, and the staff are friendly, taking great care of the residents.

"Clean and Friendly Environment at Genesis Senior Living"
Genesis Senior Living has been a great experience overall! It's a smaller place, and it's always very clean and neat. The staff are super nice and really take care of everyone here. They have lots of activities, which is nice. The only thing they could do better is the food—it's okay, but it gets a bit boring sometimes.

"Great place, but food could be better"
I really like Genesis Senior Living! It's not too big, and the place is super clean and neat. The people who work there are all really nice and act very professional, and they seem to really care about the people who live there! There are lots of things to do, which is cool. The only thing that's not super great is the food. It's okay, but it's kind of boring and the same stuff over and over.

"Clearview Cir: Good Assisted Living with Lots of Amenities"
Canterbury Dr in Warren is full. We checked out the new, empty Clearview Cir in Sterling Heights instead. It’s a nice house on a good street. It has a horseshoe driveway and a ramp for wheelchairs at the front. The backyard and patio are pleasant. They offer private and semi-private rooms, and there's a wheelchair-accessible shower. The owners are a registered nurse and a physical therapist. There are always two staff members during the day and one at night. They provide exercises and activities, and have visiting doctors, nurses, and therapists. They also escort residents to doctor appointments and offer nail and beauty services. Cable, phone, and Internet are included. They offer respite and short-term stays. If you’re interested, a $500 deposit reserves a bed for one week only.

"My Observations: Assisted Living Community "
I think the community is clean and friendly. The staff is nice and easy to talk to, although sometimes their accent makes it hard to understand. The caregivers are kind. Overall, this place meets our needs
